People tend to be generous. Today someone called to offering editing services free of charge and suggested she might introduce my creations to Sounds True. Then I went to the grocery where the clerk was giving away couple of pounds of wonderfully cooked Orzo with herbs for $1.00 though it was marked $5.99/pound. A man was about to take it and saw me standing across the way and asked, "Would you like half?"

I said, "it looks like you are about to take it sogo ahead and enjoy!" He looked very excited about it (even more than me so I wanted him to have it!)

"Oh no," he said. "I wish to share."

I took the Orzo home for Ray and I and the generosity of the fellow in the grocery store made it taste even more filling!

When I was getting out my first book, I needed money. I mentioned to a friends in a what is new conversation that I was looking for investors. It hadn not occurred to me that he would be one. I was just sharing as friends do but he said he wanted to loan me $3000 to help. When I paid him back years later, feeling successful, I was full of joy as his generosity had helped me.

Somebody called to offer some free landscaping over here at the sanctuary in gratitude for the seminar she attended on scholarship. Someone sent a beautiful anklet and some one sent bath salts. People love to give. It warms my heart!

When I felt sad my boyfriend said, "Always remember that I love you and am here to make you happy." He always watches out for me and leaves me feeling good about who I am. When some one complained he said, "Write down all the good things people say to you each day. You will see you are well loved and appreciated." His advice changed my life. I used to get thrown way off by complaints.

People are kind.

When I needed a cuddle my cat jumped into my lap. Animals are loving. When I got scared in the woods two dogs appeared out of literally no where and escorted me for several miles�one at each side. There is always someone to protect me if needed.

One time a friend who is a dove sent me five feathers of his own in the mail. He asked his person to do that so she did. People are loving and take time to care for one another.

Three favorite girl friends called today and told me how much they love me. Friends make me feel great and take time to give and receive love.

Peri and Miguel invited me out to dinner. Yum! Linda send me $100 just to celebrate me. People are infinitely generous.

I felt burned out and a friend appeared with a $6000 check to rejuvenate myself. People are incredibly generous.


When I choose to see it, it's a kind world. When I choose to write about it, more good things occur.

I invite you to make lists of all the gifts, kind words, and support you have received in the last year or decade. Focus on this and more and more will come. People are loving. People ARE Generous!

It is only in the allowing myself to receive that the universe has decided to shower me with gifts.
