Would you like to be the next Dr. Doolittle?

"It's not too far a stretch," claims Dr. Laurie Moore, psychotherapist and animal communicator. �When you meet somebody from a foreign country, his/her language sounds like nonsense to you. To him/her the same language is a rich part of the tapestry of his/her life.�

Moore explains that when we begin to think of animals as beings of a different culture we begin to open up to their communication. Animals are sending out thoughts, pictures and feelings at all times. �I believed this was farfetched myself until I practiced listening to animals,� she says.

Dr. Laurie Moore says that once she began to listen to the animals she began to hear the animals. To test out what she was hearing she spoke to the people with whom the animals lived.

Moore explains that time and time again she would come up with a private fact. For example, she explained to a client that his cat was upset because of a new neighbor that moved in. The cat wanted the person to be leery of the neighbor.

When her client heard this, his jaw dropped. He confirmed that a new neighbor had moved in. The client was upset about the neighbor also. The neighbor had proved in a short time that he was going to cause trouble.

Another time a cat told Dr. Laurie Moore that her person had suppressed the grieving process by packing up and driving away from a mate. When the person heard Moore say this she broke out sobbing. This person confirmed the truth of her cat�s observation. She explained she had packed up and driven off with her cat, leaving the boyfriend behind and never taken time to heal.

�I listened to people for years as a psychotherapist,� says Dr. Laurie Moore. I learned that if I listened to their heart more than the words they spoke I could really hear them and truly help them. So I simply extended this process to the animals: cats, birds, dogs, rats, mice, horses, rabiits, dolphins, whales, elephants, reptiles, you name it.
