Fosamax, Actonel, Osteoporosis and Toulouse Lautrec
What could Fosamax have in common with Toulouse Lautrec, the famous French Impressionist artist? Both the drugs and Toulouse Lautrec's bone disease have the same basic underlying defect in the osteoclast bone cells, both produce dense bones, and both cause spontaneous mid-femur fractures and jaw necrosis, the adverse side effects reported for fosamax and actonel. This in essence means that Fosamax drugs are creating a whole generation of women with Toulouse Lautrec's dense bone disease, and the obvious conclusion is that these drugs should be banned.....
