[i]  Abdo Dagher excels at taqāsīm (improvisational genres) and instills a distinct style of improvisatory practice among his students.

Abdo Dagher teaches students note by note and not just beginning musicians.  Musicians of the highest caliber, (e.g. Ammar Sharrii’ee, Roman Bunka) in the global musical society, enjoyed and found useful for them to learn from Abdo who is in fact analphabetic.  They were surprised how he taught them.
