Wheatgrass, the Path to Health by Jeffrey Dach MD
 
Recently, a colleague and good friend confided in me a case report of breast cancer in which the patient declined treatment with surgery and chemo, and instead spent two weeks at a wellness retreat specializing in wheatgrass juice and a "live food", vegetarian diet. Three months later, the patient reported that the mass in her breast had regressed and was so small she couldn't feel it any more. Follow up scans showed dramatic improvement, and the radiologist announced "the chemotherapy was working"!! This story intrigued me, as it suggested a biologically active agent in the wheatgrass juice with a beneficial effect on breast cancer. Over the years, I had seen wheatgrass juice sold at various juice bars, and have even tried it a few times without thinking much of it. However, this story motivated me to look further...

Announcements
Vacation and Holiday Schedule Coming Up.
Dr. Dach will be out of town attending a wedding in Jerusalem next week. Marisol, Dr Dach's secretary will be coming into the office and keeping the office open while Dr Dach is away. Marisol will be answering calls, and forwarding the messages to Dr Dach via email. In addition, our answering service will be taking calls 24/7 and forwarding messages via email to Dr. Dach.
Dr. Dach will be returning your phone calls with Skype, an internet phone service that works internationally. However, there is a six hour time zone change, so be patient with the return calls. Dr. Dach will be back in the office the following Monday April 6. However, the office will be open only Monday to Wednesday (April 6,7,8) and closed Thursday and Friday (April 9,10) for the Passover Holiday.
Passover Holiday Schedule for the Office
The Office will be closed for Passover Holidays on Thursday and Friday April 9,10.
And also closed on Wed, Thurs. April 15,16. The office will be open the other three days of these two weeks. As usual, answering service will be taking calls after hours or while the office is closed.
Office open Monday to Wednesday April 6,7,8
First Seder - Night of Wednesday, April 8
First Day - Thursday April 9 - office closed
Second Seder - Night of Thursday, April 9
Second Day - Friday, April 10 - office closed
Mon, Tues April 13,14 - office open
Seventh Day - Wednesday, April 15 - office closed
Eighth Day - Thursday, April 16- office closed
Friday April 17 - office open
