Dear Divine Goddessess,
Last month, shaman sister Trishki, led our group to explore Isis with movement and created sacred space for us to receive joyful revelations from our journeys. Thank you all, for allowing me to take a break from managing things, I truly enjoyed it.
This month we will embrace the heat of the summer and work with the Elemental of Fire, see information below.
Please note, August's NYSC Women's Circle will be the SECOND Sunday of the month, on August 9th, details to be announced.

Women's Circle • July 5th
In
a sacred space of trust, encouragement, respect and personal growth we
will honor the divine feminine and our powers to heal the world, our
communities and ourselves. Each month our shamanic work will involve
working with our bodies, souls and spirits in accordance with the
seasons.
Embracing
the Fire
Date: Sunday, July 5th, 2009
Time: 2:15 PM - 4:15 PM
(please arrive 15 minutes early)
Location: Yoga to the People
12 St. Marks Place, 4th Fl, Buzzer 4R, NYC
(East 8th St at 3rd Ave.)

It's the peak of the Summer, come capture the essence of this season with the Fire of the Sun. Fire is purification, renewal, passion and celebration.
Join us to sit in Sacred Circle and learn more about yourself, experience the renewal your mental body and absorb energy to manifest the passions of your soul-purpose, by Embracing the Fire.
Olivia will lead us by serving up concoctions of alchemy, and bring in the healing energies of the Mayan dimensions of Fire.
Open to all traditions and levels, beginners welcome!
Please
bring along a drum or a rattle, a pen & notepad, and a bandanna,
scarf. Wear comfortable clothing for dancing and
rest. You are invited to bring offerings for the altar; flowers,
fruits, nuts, tobacco, etc.
All are invited to bring their
business cards, flyers, of their work or upcoming events to share with
the community. (Please place items on center island counter).
NOTICE: Our class willy be held on the
4th fl. (no elevator access). Please be advised if you have any health
conditions that may limit yourself; or to adjust your bags/items weight;
to be able to walk up 4 flights of loft stairs.
Please
RSVP in advance so we can plan things for all of you, or give a quick
call and show up on time if you are inspired the day of the circle,
space is limited.

Who We Are
The NYSC core group
has practiced healing and journey work weekly since 1997. The Women's
Circle and Healing Circle are participating circles under the NYSC.
Collectively and individually the group has worked with shamans from
around the world. We are committed to supporting an active shamanic
community in New York City. The NYSC endorses honoring one's own direct
connection to Spirit. We honor the earth and living in ways that
support indigenous wisdom, fostering environmental and social balance.
