The month of June has certainly brought many of us some well needed rain and others with a little too much rain. Very little sunshine and the June Gloom made way for a pretty depressing month in June along with obstacles that we just could not overcome. It may have seemed more like barriers in your life more then an obstacle to overcome. One thing I have noticed with all the life readings I have done over the past two month is that summer is not going to be easy for most of us. Not just in the way of weather either, but also in our personal lives. Summer will have its way with dampening our finances and our relationships. You will find both of these area's of your life rather difficult during the summer months and all you can do is hang in there.

There has been something strange in the air lately that has had an effect on just about everyone. Of course a good bit of this is related to astrological influences. I’m by no means an astrologer or even know a whole lot about it. Hearing this from other astrologers and numerologists and feeling the energy confirms that there is something strange in the air. When there are obstacles going on in your life that begin to feel more like a barrier, remember not to give up. You may need to try a little harder and you may even consider the fact that maybe you are trying a little too hard and just need to take a little break.

Things do not come easy in life and it does not take a psychic to figure that out. Unfortunately this summer its going to seem much harder and most likely could have you giving up on yourself and others. Hang in there everyone, I assure you that things will begin to get brighter as summer comes to a close. You should really try to enjoy your summer the best you can before its all over and you sit back realizing that you did nothing this summer and really had no fun or enjoyment. That all just hit me recently and that is why we just decided that we are going to take more time to enjoy the summer heat instead of working and thinking too much. We planned a day trip to the shore in a few weeks and tubing down the river next week. Anything just to get out and get away from things for a while.

Please do not sit there and try to convince yourself that you do not have the time or even the money to go anywhere. If you sit around waiting for the time all that will happen is time will go by and before you know it you will have nothing but regrets that you did not enjoy your life a little more. There is never enough time and you just need to take one day per week as time for you and time for your family and the ones you love. As far as the money factor is concerned, what do you think they did when they did not use money? You can find simple things to do that are inexpensive or even free. Taking a day to go to the beach will cost you nothing more then a few dollars for gas, if you live close enough that is, and you can pack your own food and snacks.

I decided to take my message in a different direction this month and inspire you to take some time for yourself and enjoy those you love. It is important and so many of us become so wrapped up in our lives that we forget about the things that are really important, like ourselves, our health, and our loved ones. Try your best to hang in there this summer and find some things to do and before you know it summer will be over and good things will begin to open up in your life. If you are not a summer person and really dislike the heat, find something to do indoors like going bowling or seeing a show. If you are in a strict budget then maybe you can rearrange your furniture and make some changes in your home environment.

I have included a little article in this issue of the newsletter on the basics of Feng Shui and felt it was important to share with you how much our home environment can greatly affect our lives. Have you ever had a friend or family member who’s home is completely cluttered and unorganized? Not necessarily meaning that they are dirty or sloppy. Now, have you also noticed how different area’s of their lives are also cluttered and seem to go nowhere? Yes it is pretty much common sense, but at times we do not realize that just a small pile of clothes in the far right corner of your home can also cause problems in your marriage. So I hope you enjoy that article and apply some of the tips to your life, your home and your business.

Summer is not going to be horrible but more like your life is on hold for a while. Other then that July temps will be normal around the first half of the month and begin going a little haywire toward the end of the month. Storms will be pretty typical with a few major but nothing compared to August and September. So folks, get out there and enjoy the summer and take some time to enjoy your life and those you love. One last thing. Be sure to always say goodbye and I love you to those important to you in your life. You never know when they walk out that door whether you will see them again or even if they will see you again. You do not want to live with the regret that you did not say those simple words.

Basic Feng Shui For Your Home Or Office

For so many years I have heard of Feng Shui but never went on to explore the subject. I have heard a few things surrounding the subject like bringing the elements into your home. Like have a fountain to bring water, candles for fire and plants for earth and air. Then I met my friend Tori while filming America's Psychic Challenge in California. She talked to me a little about the subject and even more when Bob and I went to visit California last year and spent a day with Tori. She opened my eyes to the subject and gave us a few different feng shui coin amulets to place in different areas of our home. This sent me on my way to research more on the topic and bring a little more feng shui to our home and office.

I happen to really love bamboo plants. When I found out that they bring good energy into the home and office and are used in Feng Shui I just had to get some. I found that they were rather expensive in different stores and nurseries. So what I did was researched companies online including wholesale companies until I found a really cheap site. They had every size and shape of bamboo you can think of and supplies like the gold wire ties you use to wrap the bamboo together, also used in Feng Shui.

After choosing a pretty large assortment of bamboo and placing my order I headed to AC Moore and Michaels craft store. I looked for different vases and glass planters along with different colored stones and rocks so I could design my own bamboo pots. The process is rather easy and the bamboo was pretty cheap, but the planters and stones were a little pricey. Then you simply make your bamboo bundles using the gold wire ties, place them in your pot and fill the pot or vase with stones and rocks. Add water and place in different areas of your home according to the Feng Shui map and if possible in each room of your home or office. Bamboo is very easy to care for needing very little light and they are not fussy plants.

First you should look online for the Feng Shui Bagua, or map as I refer to it as. This will show you what the different areas of your home represent. For example, if you were to walk into your home and go to the far left corner of the home you would be in the wealth and prosperity area. You would want to keep that area clean from all clutter and bring in some of the elements to bring more wealth and prosperity into your home and life.

You also can use different Feng Shui amulets that are hung in different areas of your home to bring good energy and Feng Shui to certain aspects of your life. There are ones you hang in each corner of your home and even ones to hang from your door knob. My friend gave me a few of these charms and then I went on line and researched a place to buy a few more. There are so many different symbols and charms that can be used for Feng Shui. There are two dogs that guard your front door and even a gold frog that brings prosperity and money.

Even though Feng Shui is very deep and complex, working on just the basics can bring powerful changes to your life. To stick with the basics just map out the areas of your home and learn the meanings of each area. Be sure to clean this area up, free of all clutter. Add a bamboo plant and any other element that represents that area. Some areas represent wood so you would place something wood in that area. The area located in the front middle of your home, where your front doors is located, is your career area and its element is water. Therefore, this is a good place to add a fountain to your home.

I hope this will help you learn some more of the basics of Feng Shui in detail so that it can help you bring some change into your home. You can also find a lot just by using Google, especially if you are searching for the amulets and bamboo. You will be surprised how much cleaning up an area and bringing in the good Feng Shui energy can really effect your life and help you live to your full potential.

       

Ouija Board

Ouija Boards & Their Dangers

A few months ago I decided to bring the topic of Ouija Boards to my weekly radio program "Journey Into The Paranormal". The topic has become one of the most popular topics that I have covered on the show. I'm quite surprised by the amount of people that actually still own a Ouija board and even let their kids play with them as if they were a toy. So I decided to write a little bit about what I talked about on the program in this months newsletter.

Ouija boards certainly are not a toy and it is in sane that they sell them in toy stores. I understand that many people may not believe in them and refer to them as nothing more then a game in which someone moves the planchet on their own. Sometimes this could be true and this is simply because those people do not take the board seriously. Well you don't even have to take the board seriously to be effected by the negative energy and spirits they attract.

There are many safe ways to communicate with spirits, like in the form of a Ouija board. The thing is, most people have no idea how to create a safe protected area in which you can use different levels of communication. Centuries ago people would write the letters and numbers on square pieces of parchment paper. Then they would fan them out on a table and place a glass upside down in the center. They would light white candles, for protection, and place their fingers onto the glass. Then they would call on a spirit to communicate with them and patiently wait for the spirit to move the glass the the letters to spell out a message.

If you insist on communicating with spirit using a tool like the Ouija board, skip it, and go with the letters written on square pieces of paper. Ouija Boards are made from compressed board full of chemicals and God only knows what else. Along with that there is nothing more then a big sticker placed on the board and a plastic planchet to go along with it. There is nothing natural about them at all. Ouija Boards have a way with attracting very negative energies and spirits.

There are other forms of boards out there similar to the Ouija for communicating with spirit. Again you should at least know what your doing and how to protect yourself when using any tool for communication. There is one called third eye concepts and another called the psychic oracle. I'm not sure if those are still around but the third eye concepts was one of my favorites because it is made from all natural wood. Personally I have witnessed spirit possession through Ouija boards, seen one fly across the room and would not recommend that anyone use one.
