Oct 30-Nov 1 (Fri-Sun) SQUARE DANCE... Southern Appalachian Square Dance Weekend in the Community Room, Keith House at John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC (7 miles east of Murphy). Featuring: Squares and Big Circles Instructors: Phil Jamison and Bob Dalsemer. Live music by: Red Mountain, Adam Hurt and Beth Hartness. The class schedule includes Friday and Saturday night dances as well as daytime workshops on Saturday and a farewell dance session Sunday morning. All dances are taught and walked through in advance. Appalachian Square Dance Weekend begins with registration (3:00 to 5:30 pm) and supper (6:00 pm) on Friday and ends with lunch on Sunday.
