This summer has been a beautiful dream and I have been the dreamer. A magical week in Mount Shasta California lead to me a larger understanding of who I am as I let go of so many of the illusion that have kept from the fullest parts of my myself for far too long. I celebrate my 60th birthday this week. Yes, celebrate! I have decided that it is just a number and although aging is inevitable, getting old is an option. I do not want to waste a moment of my earth walk on this glorious planet regretting the passage of time…. regretting anything, so I have chosen to let go of all regrets or grievances as I embrace the changes in all parts of my being and live life to its fullest. Won't you join me in the dance?
Last Monday I was sitting in Panther Meadow on the slopes of Mount Shasta in a total state of bliss. Gratitude poured from my heart for every tiny wildflower and every blade of grass that added its beauty to the meadow. I was in such appreciation for all of creation and grateful to part of the creational field. It was pure bliss as I sat there breathing in the fresh mountain air. I was in an absolute state of grace.
My confirmation came when I returned to my rental car and found a brilliant golden yellow crystal had been placed on the door handle of the car. I could hear spirit laughing as I tried to figure out how it would have got there with my rational mind. I picked up the tiny crystal held it in my hands, let go of all rational thought and said “Thank you”. It was an expression of gratitude that had no limits. It went to the crystal, to the being that placed it there, to the mountain spirits, to the earth spirits, to the waters, to the air, to the devas, to everyone who had helped to make my journey so pivotal, and to all of creation. It was a true moment of Satori.
I send that same blessing to everyone who reads these words.

Meeting Beverly Ann Wilson was one of the many highlights of this magical summer. On August 18, 2009 I left Guelph in the early hours of the morning and flew to San Francisco, then took a short flight heading north to Redding California. I then rented a car and drove for another hour north through the mountains to Mount Shasta. I arrived at The Crystal Room just after closing to connect with my friend Nicholas Hardy. He works at The Crystal Room and has an insightful and knowledgeable understanding of the mineral kingdom. Nicholas is a dear friend of many years we have stayed in touch since we met in the summer of 2004 and I have been a witness to all that he has become. He offered himself as my guide, friend and mentor for the week I was staying in his house.
Shortly after I arrived and was dizzied by the energy in the crystal shop, Nicholas and I went for dinner. At dinner, he explained to me that, Bev the owner of the Crystal Room, was going to be doing a Divine Feminine activation that evening with a configuration of 66 alchemical crystal bowls and that we had been invited to be part of that! Although I was experiencing some jet lag I decided to put it aside for this once in a lifetime experience. After dinner we returned to the Crystal Room where Bev had just completed the set up for the ceremony. It was more that I could have imagined as Bev began to sound the bowls. The alchemy of crystal, gold, silver, platinum, ruby, emerald, citrine, indium, rose quartz began to fill the air and all the spaces in between with harmonies and overtones. I was transported, transmuted and transformed. Through the sound I experienced higher frequency aspects of the Goddess coming to me on an exquisite pink ray as Quan Yin and on a vibrant blue aura ray as Mother Mary. Her messages were sweet and encouraging; she opened my heart and spoke to me in the language of light.

One of the people at Divine Feminine Activation ceremony was an unusual man that I felt destined to do some work with. His name is Michael and I sensed that he was so much more that his physical appearance would reveal. I could feel my energetic self constantly checking him out to see if it was safe to approach someone as large as he with my request. Something inside told me that I had a choice I could step up with my request or I could back down and everything would remain as it was. Since I had already made my commitment before I left for Mount Shasta I moved closer and asked him if I could book a session with him. He was open and we set up a time for later in the week. Since he now had my permission he began his work standing there in the front room of the crystal store. His questions threw me off and my mind simply had to get out of the way as I began releasing the old part of myself that no longer wished to be here. He gave me some work to do before we were to meet again on the Saturday. I left the crystal shop, I was exhausted and ready for sleep.
By the time my head hit the pillow that night it would have been about 4:00 am in Guelph. After a long and full day, I dropped quickly into a night of lucid dreaming. The dream time brought more insight into all that I would be dealing with in the days to come and met with parts of me that had to die. Nature teaches so much about letting go and the need to let parts of us die so we can birth into something new. For the next few days I spent time in the mountain meadows reflecting, meditating while I communed with the magical beings of the Mountain and drank from the pure waters. I drove to Stuart Mineral springs and bathed in the rich minerals bath. I explored the sleepy little town of Mount Shasta and had amazing session with a cranial sacral therapist in the village. I felt ready and willing for my session with Michael.
Michael was able to teach me more about letting go in the brief time we spent together than I might have gleaned in a lifetime. He works with the highest alchemies to transmute anything, which is less than light. He led me into the deepest chambers of my heart, into the all and through the magic he weaves I found myself leaving with a very direct connection to my high wise self. That connection is there now every moment and every hour, in the waking and the dreaming. I am so grateful to Michael and to my dear friend Nicholas who supported the whole process and helped me put the last piece together. Showing me that once again the miracle happens in the last five minutes, always stay to end and go the full course.
I hope to bring Michael and Nicholas to Ontario sometime in the next year, but we are also planning to take a group to Mount Shasta next summer in July for a truly magical experience including and opportunity to do some group work with Michael and receive a crystal bowl activation in the Crystal Room. Hello Dear Ones,
September 9, 2009 is a significant date this year as Earth continues her cycle of changes leading us towards Dec. 12, 2012. As we approach the 09/09/09 gateway we are all being given the incredible opportunity to step up. By stepping up I mean that we step up and take a significant roll in the awakening process. It is a time when we must release the last vestiges of controlling and limiting thought forms and step into our fullness. We must shed the old paradigm and be willing to enter into the new by living in our hearts at all times. All the lies we have told ourselves and any discrepancies we mirror to others must be let go of. We must learn to live in impeccable integrity so that we are truly transparent, dropping the dark masks and illusions we have been carrying for millennia. It is time to allow ourselves to become open. With nothing to hide…. nothing to lose, the ego based mind loses its control and we become the master once again. We take back the temple body where our full being resides.
Whew! This sounds Big. Well yes, it is, and it is incredibly important as you make your own personal choices to enter this new age with grace and ease or struggle and effort. Those who fight against change and wish to keep the drama and chaos in their lives will surely be experiencing the struggle and effort of suffering. Those who embrace the changes full on with absolute integrity, awareness and loving kindness will experience this shift with grace and ease.
All this being said, you may be asking, “Okay, what do I do how do unlock the door and become all that I AM?”
We can make the process complex and difficult or we can make it simple. The mind may want the complexity of hours of therapy and pillow pounding, but it is in the simplicity of letting go and saying “YES” that we sometimes find a heap of complex emotions beliefs and thought forms leaving us forever. On August 09, 2009 I intend to join with all of you who choose to be at the Soul Connection Reiki Share on that evening and perform a “Letting Go” ceremony. As we set out intention to “Let Go” we allow more of our grace filled presence to enter into our physical body. It won’t be a complex ceremony. It will be sweet, simple and exquisitely beautiful as we join together with one heart and one mind. I hope you join me as we connect with communities of awakening beings all over the planet to assist in activating the 9/9/9 gateway with our intentional fields of light.

The next New Moon Axiatonal Alignment sessions will be at Soul Connection, 12 Oakridge Cres. on September 18 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. By appointment only. During each pass the practitioner will lightly touch the client at specific points on their body. These points, when put together, will trace out forms of sacred geometry. 2010 Soul Connection SACRED JOURNEY TO HAWAII

Six week Intutitive Development course with Barbara McKell

Many of you have been asking about it and this September Barbara will be teaching a six week Intuitive Development Course in Guelph. The course will be held on Thursday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, for six consecutive weeks starting on Sept. 10/09. This is perfect way to get your feet wet, develop confidence in your innate ability and enter into the new paradigm.
The course will incorporate experiential exercises with lectures, empowerments and opportunity to practice in class as well as at home. Students will be given something to take home and practice each week. A binder and extensive course materials will be provided to each student. If you miss a class you will be given the materials so you can catch up in your own time. No previous experience or understanding is required. We just ask you to show up with an open heart and mind… and be ready to have fun!
Unit 1- Intuition –The Levels of Intuition: Seeing, hearing, feeling , smelling, knowing. The pathways of Intuitive function. How Intuition as related to the Body Electric /Chakras and levels of communication within the energy field.
Unit 2- Brain states and altered states of consciousness. How to manage your own energy. Visualization and Playful non-threatening exercises to open your intuition.
Unit 3- Tuning in to the vibratory world- Reading energy fields - developing ways to receive information from all sources.
Unit 4- Inner preparation and learning to trust. Methods to tap into your personal gifts and intuitive understanding.
Unit 5- Intuition and the Evolving Soul: Past lives, reincarnation and spiritual guidance. Symbols and signs.
Unit 6- Professional Practice – Rules of practice - How to structure a reading – Boundaries, Ethics and Legalities.
