SAT PRACTICE TEST SCHEDULED
Students can get a leg up in today’s highly competitive college admissions market by practicing SAT test taking.
Kaplan’s FREE Practice Test for the SAT*, administered under simulated testing conditions, will be administered on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at 9 a.m. at A.C. Reynolds High School.
Personalized feedback will help explain what the scores mean to you, and explanations for every right and wrong answer choice start you on the path to higher scores. As a bonus, students receive Kaplans' Free QuizBank, customized online prep with 1,700+ questons and expert Kaplan explanations (available separately for SAT and ACT).
Register for the Practice Test and QuizBank: call 1-800-KAP-TEST or register online at the link below by Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged because space is limited… reserve your seat early!
Admission is $10 at the door. The test is free from Kaplan, and all proceeds will support the A.C. Reynolds High School PTSO. Students from any school may attend. Test scores will be distributed directly to families no more than 7 days after the Practice Test, and no one sees the scores but you and Kaplan.

PTSO SUPPORT CRITICAL TO ACRHS PROJECTS
Funds raised by the Parent Teacher Student Organization at ACRHS go toward a variety of educational needs and support programs. Last year, PTSO helped support the Seniors Project Nights, art competitions, History Day, the Reynolds Agriculture program, Career-Technical Education reception, the student newspaper, National Honor Society and the Counseling Department to name just a few.
This year, more than ever, in the face of declining budgets and belt tightening, the efforts of parents and Reynolds supporters can make the difference in whether programs continue or are postponed. If you want to make a difference, please contact the PTSO. Donations are welcome, but more importantly, consider signing up to volunteer.
