• Circo Aereo - On its first US tour, Finland's smart, imaginative, and inventive Circo Aereo brings its contemporary "New Circus" genre to Asheville with its latest and most famous work, Espresso.Tuesday and Wednesday night this week at 8:00pm at the Diana Wortham Theatre.
  
  
• Autumn ArtFest - Razcal's Restaurant and Lounge will be throwing a gigantic artist's sale and showcase. Great live local music, free appetizer buffet, great drink specials, pumpkin carving contest and more! Art show from 5:00pm - 8:30pm. Door prizes will be given away! Then Wednesday, join us for "Razcal's Last Call". We will reopen November 7th as The Old Fairview Southern Kitchen.
  

• Friday Night Flights at the Weinhaus - This month is “Club Med”, Mediterranean Wine Tasting If you just stick to wines made within 30 miles of the Mediterranean, you will experience some great wines. This evening we will pick 4 of our favorite wines from Spain, France, and maybe Italy for you to try.The last Friday of each month, the Weinhaus is pleased to offer a series of themed tastings from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at our store at 86 Patton Avenue. There will be a nominal charge of $10.00 for the tasting which includes small pours of each of four wines and light hors d’oeuvres.

• Grand Soireé at Adorn Salon - Adorn Salon invites you to our Grand Soiree, Friday Ocotober 30, 2009. Join us at 8:00pm at 82B N. Lexington for a Jazz Funeral Procession to the new space at 58 College Street! Costume contest, refreshments and more! Music by The Asheville Gentlemen and displaying artwork by Alli Good. • The Spirits of Asheville Masquerade Ball - Presented by Arts 2 People, The Feral Chihuahuas and Asheville Brewing Company. An all night Halloween event featuring a Villanous Variety Show with the Feral Chihuahuas Sketch Comedy, Spooky Burlesque from the Seduction Sideshow, Sideshow Antics from Royal Peasantry, Frightening Feats of human magic and agility, Costume Contest with over $1000 in cash and prizes, delicious beverages from local brewers, Dance Party with live spun DJs, and a solid Asheville Style good time.

• Tasting at Battery Park Champagne Bar - Wines and Cheeses of Burgundy Region of France 4:00pm - 6:00pm. $10.00 per person charge for tastings of 6 wines and cheese. Please call ahead for reservations.
