Join us on Wednesday Nov. 11, Remembrance Day in a practice of peace and appreciation for all the war veterans.
All regular drop in classes* will be accepting donations in lieu of pass cards, memberships, and regular payment. Suggested minimum donation of $10/class with all donations being matched and given to the Calgary Poppy Fund.

Friday Nov. 13 at 7pm we are fortunate enough to have the Calgary Radha Yoga Centre coming in to lead us through our first Satsang, "in the company of the wise".
We meet to sing “bhajans” which are joyful sacred songs, pass lighted candles to each person which represent the Divine and the Light in each one of us. We chant “mantras” for the benefit of all and we read from sacred yogic texts which inspire us.
We take time to reflect on our lives from a fresh and learning perspective. Satsang offers the opportunity to interpret our daily events in a deeper way to give meaning and hope to our lives and make progress toward our ideals.
Join the Radha yoga teachers in a time when we can allow the thoughts of the day to recede, create space in our minds and hearts and open up to know the joy that is already within us.

Living a healthy lifestyle is your best defense in this current flu season.
Your yoga practice not only helps to boost your mood and relieve stress but it also teaches you how to put these stress fighting techniques into practice off your mat. Full breath awareness, positive thinking, and relaxation exercises help block release of stress hormones and increase immune function.
Add in the regular handwashing/sanitizing, eating a healthy diet, a good night's sleep, our disinfecting practice of wiping switches, doorknobs, and pin pads and you've got yourself into a habit of building a strong immune system.
Please remember, if you are feeling sick, rest is the best idea, not a strenuous sweaty practice in a busy yoga studio! ;)

| Teacher Training at Yogadotcalm |

Applications are now being accepted for Yogadotcalm's 250hr Yoga Teacher Training.
Trainings will take place on the weekends (1-3 weekends/month) beginning in January and finishing up in August with a 5 day yoga retreat.
Pre-requisites include basic knowledge of full Primary Series practice and a desire to learn.
Training will cover yoga history & philosophy, anatomy & physiology, teaching methodologies, and more.

Kids Yoga Registration

Due to the immense popularity of our Kid's Yoga class with Jan, we've had to put a hold on all registrations.
If you have a child registered in our current session they will automatically be placed on the registration list for the next session in 2010. Confirmation with payment must be received by Nov. 20th, 2009. After that date, any non-confirmed places will be allotted to children on the waiting list.
