 Twisted Thanks Giving.
Time for Thanking and Spanking
I've already got two Thanksgiving meals on my belt this year and not a single spanking to match! Surely you have some catching up to do as well.
Come by Edges on Thursday and join us for a community feast. Chel Girl has put together an awesome assortment of yummies to share, though we are still in need of folks willing to pitch in with setup and cleanup. Check out the Volunteer Spot and sign up to bring a dish and/or to lend a helping hand.
We will open the doors by Noon, make some popcorn and turn on a holiday movie, and slowly set up tables and chairs as folks arrive to give us a hand. We plan to begin setting out food between 3 and 3:30. You are welcome to come early and hang out, enjoy the movie, share some wine, perhaps bring a game or two to play and have fun with friends!
This is not specifically a play event but light play is welcome. Anyone willing to show up as, or metamorph into a human turkey will be given a prize, with the best turkey going home with a grand prize!

Edges is Thankful For...
We have two awesome dinners this holiday! Thanks to Chel Girl for kicking Edges' ass in regards to stepping up to the much needed Volunteer Coordinator position and running out the gate to start with the Thanksgiving Day event. And thanks to Elfin Magic for hosting and putting together the Second Annual Italian Holiday Dinner, started last year by Naughty Doc and Nurse. We had folks make some amazingly authentic Italian dishes last year and I'm looking forward to new creations this time around.
Bruce E and Kate have graciously stepped up to put together the upcoming Age Play holiday party. I'm hoping they'll do the kids' New Years Resolutions again so I can send them out half way through 2010 like we did this year. For the adults inside of us, Lady Hilary and her Marine are hosting a New Years workshop on January 2nd to help you to Set your Vision for 2010. Sign up now
We are helping Renegades Bar and Mama's Family to collect unwrapped toys for kids. Bring them by the bar anytime in the next two weeks. Edges was glad to pick up several donations from outside sources and will be bringing them by to add to the pile! Join in.
We are also accepting donations for Operation Dignity which houses and provides services for Homeless Veterans. They are in great need of new packages of underwear, gloves, cold weather hats, socks and of course cash donations to purcahse supplies to share on their mobile outreach vans.
