Hello 2010!

Dear Family, Friends and Students:
Greetings from Qi Dragon! Wishing you a great Tiger year! Strictly speaking Tiger year doesn't start until Feb 14 this year, but we are entering the solar calendar new year. Happy New Year to you all!
We are still remembering writing the 2009 new year newsletter. It's amazing how one year just passed by! While looking forward to starting something new, we want to take a moment to refelct on the past year as a Qigong/Taichi/Chinese Medicine healing community.
First we want to thank all of you for your loving support, your faith, your discipline in your practice and love for the path, which made it possible for  us  to accomplish what we have done together in 2009. In 2009 Qi Dragon offered four on-going classes, seven Qigong weekend workshops, three Qigong/Taichi retreats in Tassajara and Green Gulch Farm, five Qigong Intensive Day, one Qigong-in-the-world Week, one Taichi Intensive Weekend workshop and intensive week, two free weekly Community Qigong classes both in SF and East Bay, monthly Golden Gate Park Taichi/Qigong, two Swimming Dragon ten week workshops, three Liu He Ba Fa ten week workshops, two Qigong workshops for people in recovery and three series of Mandarin workshop. We continuously offered Lunchtime Qigong to SF government employees and provided continuing education credits to licensed acupuncturists and registered nurses. We had our first exciting China taichi trip in September and our first Thanksgiving Qigong retreat. We brought  Master Yu Xiaolin to our community to teach us Yang Taichi and had the special opportunity to study with Master Yu Anren the 72 Closed Hands form! We should be all proud of what we have done. We did it together! It is amazing how much we can do for the community as a community.
Now it's time for us to move on from what we have achieved and take our practice and commitment to a new level. Qi Dragon will be continuously committed to providing its service in Qigong, Taichi and Acupuncture healing to our community.  Please check the partial new schedule in this newsletter and future updates on line at www.qidragon.com.

May this New Year bring you joy, happiness, health and peace!
