Rhythm in Waves: a progressive workshop in five parts
Inside each of the 5Rhythms® there is another Wave for us to ride. While some of my days flow along uninterruptedly and others slice through to the heart: while some shake and shatter, and others wisp on the winds; while sometimes they even glide, elide and slide on breath alone; more often than not my days (and nights) have a rhythm running through them that carries me along a wave of myriad moments that ride the edge between the rhythms.
Join me Monday evenings, starting April 12 for 5-weeks as we explore the Rhythms in the Rhythms. We’ll use the knife’s edge to sharpen our Flow and slice fluidly through space. We’ll free the unpredictable inside the structure of Staccato and shatter our own mind-fields. Find fractals in Chaos and lighten up into the repetitions of release. Lyrically shape-shift between the air around us and the breath inside of us. Still moving through all of the rhythms, we’ll re-move the beginning inside of every ending.
When: Monday evenings, 7PM-10PM, April 12 through May 10, by registration only. (This is not a drop-in class.)
Price: $150 (paid in full by Friday, April 9), $175 thereafter. Student, Elder and scholarship options available.
Where: DANY Studios, 305 W. 38th St.
Pre-requisite: Minimum six months regular 5Rhythms® practice or equivalent workshop experience.

Class Cost: $15, $10 for students. Class cards: $120 (for 10 classes, good for use at Thursday/Friday class only)
