Cheryl Gama and Reverend Pomaika`i Coulon will be presenting New Thought moments through Dances of Universal Peace (Sufi dances) which are easily learned spiritual folk dances from all traditions,
with gentle movements that even "non-dancers" can greatly enjoy.
Please bring pillows for sitting and a small altar piece.
Singing sacred, ancient phrases creates a full body healing vibration, and when conscious movement is added, these become powerful spiritual practices. We will practice the divine glance as we dance, where we all gaze beyond the personality to see the divine within each other. Each dance will be fully taught, no experience is necessary.
Dances are interactive and participatory, not a performance.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE MEETING AT THE KEAUHOU BEACH PARK AT THE END OF KAMEHAMEHA III ROAD, JUST DRIVE TO THE END OF THE ROAD AT THE OCEAN.
New Thought Center of Hawai`I celebrates Earth Day at Keauhou Bay Park with Ron Johnson who has had a 40 year personal spiritual Vision Quest to inspire the creation of model Sustainable Communities. Offering strategies to put “New Thought” into action by creating Sustainable Communities of Light around the Big Island to light the way for others to follow is his goal. Randyl Rupar will inspire us with green ideas that we all can accomplish, Joe Conti will inspire us with his music and mother nature will inspire us to play more in this place called paradise.
Please bring a chair or mat, food and or drinks to share, swimming things, musical instruments, or anything else you feel inspired to bring. We will have BBQ’s available for cooking. Bring the children, we will have childcare also for the service.
Ron Johnson is our newly elected Vice President on the board of trustees at New Thought and Randyl Rupar is one of our newly elected trustees. They bring extraordinary gifts to the New Thought Community.

Our desire is to provide a variety of musical experiences.

Chi Gong classes, mini retreats with Gavin Harrison, Transcendance
Weekly, Wednesday Evenings, Transcendance!
Come celebrate this freeform style and contact improv dance in a safe environment. Dance alone or with others. Recorded world music like African, Celtic, Indi-rock, Arabic, world fusion, pop, house and new age. We start with a circle and introduction, then dance, then close with a circle. A meditation altar, yoga mats and cushions available for sacred moments if desired.
Percussion instruments are available and welcome....as well as singing voices.
Also open to short, live performance for opening or closing of circle. Call if interested.
Warm up and socialize 7-7:30 pm.

Suggested donation $7.00. $5.00 for members.

Have you heard of a God Box?
It is a box into which you release your prayers for what you choose to have, do or be.
In affirmative prayer there are 5 steps to the process.
1. Recognize - the Infinite Source, Divine Spirit, The One, or God and all the qualities of that essence.
2. Unify - Remember you are one with this essence, power, source.
3. Declare - the desired results of your prayer as if it has already happened, avoiding words like want, need, no, never, not.
4. Give thanks - for the prayer already being answered.
5. Release - Let go and Let God. The most challenging part to move your consciouseness out of the way and allow the prayer to be answered.
This is where the God Box comes in. You've prayed, affirmed, taken all guided action, followed all leads, you have DONE everything you can and still.........
So write it down on a piece of paper and put it into the God Box tellilng Spirit that you now place it completely into his/her hands and trust that your highest and best good is happening. Every time the subject pops into your mind, remind yourself you have already turned it over to a higher power and release it again.
