Foundations of Neurodevelopmental Theory
The Center for School Success (CSS) is offering an online version of its Plymouth State University graduate course, Foundations of Neurodevelopmental Theory (ND5000). CSS is able to offer this course at a reduced rate because it was awarded a grant by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation-North Country to create an online version for the first course in its Neurodevelopmental Approach to Teaching Masters and CAGS program through PSU.
The course is 8 weeks long and will begin March 1. The expectation is that participants will complete two modules a week. Each module ranges from 2.5-4.5 hours. Modules include a mix of reading, video lecture, activities and practical application. The first few modules have the most reading assignments to allow participants to get the essential background information to maximize their experience in the rest of the course.
Please contact Leslie Williamson at lesliewilliamson11@gmail.com if you are interested in registering for this course or have any further questions. There are a few spaces left if you know of anyone in your district who might be interested. There are a number of teachers who are taking this course with colleagues.
