Now called Reggae for Recovery and hosted in Brisbane, the event will have the likes of Mary J Blige, Jimmy Cliff, Maxi Priest and Sean Paul singing for the sake of the Premier's Disaster Relief Appeal.

In addition, 10 per cent of profits from this year's Raggamuffin shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide will be donated to the cause.

“All of our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families affected by the tragic events in Queensland,” McManus said.

“Let's hope we can raise a substantial amount of money to ease some of the pain and to aid in the rebuilding of Queensland.”
