How Many Items Are Checked During A Home Inspection?

We often receive inquiries on our web site and over the phone in our office from Clients asking "What all is included in your Home Inspection?"

 

With almost 5,000 licensed Home Inspectors in Florida, there is a wide range of standards of practices being provided to consumers.  Kross Inspectors has gained the reputation of providing one of the most comprehensive inspections for consumers in Florida.  Our Home Inspection protocol has been developed over time while performing over 12,000 inspections (since 2007!).  Recently, we began working closely with a local software development company in order to streamline our reporting process.  In the last 90 days, our Inspectors have changed from carrying a clipboard with over 10 pages of items that they checked during their inspection to carrying a handheld device that allows them to check over 3,500 items!   

 

Their new inspection report writing tool provided by KwikReports not only allows them to complete the entire inspection report and deliver to Clients/Agents ON SITE, but also helps them keep on track during the inspection, ensuring they do not miss reporting on important elements of the home!

I Didn't Receive My Report! 

In today's online community, we do hear from some Clients asking "Where's my report?"

 

Our Inspection reports are delivered at the end of the inspection, before the Inspector leaves the property!

 

Still, some Clients do not see their reports appear in their email account "In Box". 

 

One of our new company policies since implementing KwikReports for Home Inspectors is that our Inspector must verify the email accounts where the reports should be delivered prior to submitting.

 

If you do not see your inspection report right away after the inspection is complete, you are welcome to call our office for troubleshooting at (239) 677-4403.  We also offer the following troubleshooting tips:

 

  1. Note that your report will be delivered from KwikReports@kwikreports.com 
  2. Check your email account "Spam" or "Junk Mail" folder 
  3. Send an email to Info@krossinspectors.com with the property address in the subject line.  Let us know you have not received the report. Often by replying to your incoming email, your email account will not block our mail servers.  
  4. Login to your account at www.krossinspectors.com and download a copy of your inspection report (your email server may be blocking your report delivery due to the file size with all the photos the Inspector has provided).

 

If you are still experiencing difficulty receiving your inspection report after trying the troubleshooting tips above, call our office at (239) 677-4403.  One of our experienced Administrators can provide alternate methods of email deliver and will work with you until you are able to receive and view your report.
