SOLA ROSA - REGGAE/FUNK/LATIN/JAZZ/HIP-HOP FUSION MULTI AWARD-WINNING NEW ZEALAND SENSATION BRINGS U.S. TOUR TO TAHOE

South Lake Tahoe, Nevada
Live at Blu Nightclub - MontBleu Casino Resort
Saturday, December 3, 2011

LAKE TAHOE, NV – MontBleu Casino Resort and PR Entertainment, Inc presents New Zealand’s Music Award-Winning sensation, Sola Rosa, who will perform their amazing Reggae/Funk/Jazz/Latin/Hip-Hop Fusion, Saturday, December 3, 2011, inside Blu Nightclub at MontBleu Resort.

Tickets are just $7.00, or $5.00 for locals and FREE for all local Ski Resort Employees, as MontBleu welcomes winter and all ski resort industry employees to the Lake Tahoe basin.  Tickets are available at the door only.  9p doors.  Must be 21.

Acclaimed New Zealand combo SOLA ROSA will bring their groovalicious blend of hip hop, reggae, jazz, Latin, soul and funk to lucky U.S. audiences for the first time this winter, via a series of tour dates just announced.

Starting November 29th, frontman Andrew Spraggon will take the stage alongside Spikey Tee (Jah Wobble, Mr. Scruff, Bomb the Bass) and Lila Tomlins (Kiwi vocal sensation) for a Sound System tour of ten North American cities, beginning in New York, NY and ending in Ensenada, Mexico. SOLA ROSA is ready to prove to the U.S. audience that they have that special element it takes to make it in the ever-growing musical world.

SOLA ROSA’s debut North American album, Get It Together, was recently released on October 11th, 2011, and already garnered a mention in the Village Voice, a single premiere for “Turn Around” in Baeble Music, and a video premiere for the same song on PopMatters. This is not surprising, as the album has stayed at #1 in NZ for over four months.

SOLA ROSA frontman Andrew Spraggon ignores the niceties of genre boundaries and opts instead to blend his diverse influences into an otherworldly aural experience. Since 1999 he has been honing his craft by keeping good company on the road and in the studio, eventually earning himself a nomination for Best Producer at the Vodafone NZ Music Awards in 2006 and 2009. Get It Together was nominated for Best Electronica Album, and the album’s second single, ‘Turn Around’, was nominated for Best Video.

While Sola Rosa’s first three albums undoubtedly cast Spraggon as one of New Zealand’s finest purveyors of downbeat-electronica – something that was backed up by a raft of accolades including a NZ Music Award for 2001’s Solarized, and b-net awards for 2000’s Entrance To Skyway and 2003’s Haunted Out-takes – his fourth long player, 2005s Moves On, saw a change in tact. Not content to simply stay within the bounds of any one genre, Spraggon expanded the Sola Rosa sound, incorporating more live instrumentation and adding a healthy dollop of funk, soul and reggae to an already considerable list influences. The new direction not only reinvigorated the Rosa sound, but earned Spraggon another nomination for Best Dance/Electronic album at the 2006 NZ Music Awards.

Despite the rapturous reception that all six of Sola Rosa’s releases have garnered, it’s Spraggon’s latest album, Get It Together, which has so successfully captured the breadth of his vision and piqued the most interest from record labels, artists and fans the world over.

Sola Rosa will be performing live at MontBleu’s Blu Nightclub, Saturday, December 3, 2011.  Doors open 9p.  Tickets are available at the door for $7.00, locals are $5.00, and all ski resort employees get in for FREE. (with employee ID).  For more information visit www.solarosa.com, www.PREpresents.com, or www.MontBleuResort.com

THIRD WORLD--- INNER CIRCLE LEGENDS OF REGGAE TOUR 2012!
Jamaican Reggae Giants Inner Circle and Third World join together to celebrate each of their 35 years of classic #1 Reggae hits. Both Inner Circle and Third World are some of Jamaica's last original, authentic Reggae bands touring.

Third World is more than just one of the top Reggae bands of all time, it is an institution. The iconic band stands for producing and performing music that, while holding firm to the cultural and ancestral roots of it's members, still pushes forward the cutting edge of music worldwide. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA - GREETINGS FROM FULLY FULLWOOD
Greetings Friends

On this Thanksgiving Eve, I can't help but think of all the things I have to be thankful for: my friends and family, my health, the full life experiences that my profession has afforded me. Then I turn to thoughts of those less fortunate. We can all find things in our lives that we're not satisfied with, that we want or need more of, less of, to start or to stop. But few of us know the feelings of fear, uncertainty, helplessness and hopelessness that come with being homeless. Imagine a life without shelter: no bed to sleep in, no bathroom to freshen up in, no kitchen to eat from, no clean clothes, no possessions, nothing to count on. Then imagine yourself in this situation as a child!

On this Thanksgiving Eve, I want to share with you what we have been doing this season with my cause, Reggae For A Reason. Reggae For A Reason is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of homeless youth.  I ask that you consider joining us this Sunday Nov 27 at Fully Fullwood LIVE Reggae Sunday to give thanks together.

Below is our 2011 Holiday Program. I understand many of us are struggling this season and I know it is hard for many to give beyond their own necessities. Whether you can give or not, I want to see you this Sunday to feel the love generated by a group of like-minded, peace loving, generous, caring & gentle people. Irie. One love, Fully

Reggae For A Reason
2011 Holiday Program

Adopt A Teen - STANDUP FOR KIDS – Thank you for considering adopting a teen for the Holidays. These kids are abused and neglected and most have no home, no warm clothing and no one to love them. They greatly appreciate the generosity of people and organizations like you and yours that help us provide a Happy Holiday for these children. Kids will provide a wish list of 3-5 gifts of reasonable cost (each under $30). We ask that you provide a minimum of 3 gifts for the child you “adopt”. If you’d prefer to make a donation (cash/check), we will purchase the gifts for you. Kids Wish Lists will be provided to you on or around Dec 1.  Thank you to our friends at the Sunday Reggae Show @ Don The Beachcomber who committed to adopting 6 youth. We still need more commitments to "adopt" (or cash donations) ASAP.

Adopt A Family – PROJECT HOPE SCHOOL –
we are collecting Christmas gifts (or monetary donations toward gifts) for The Lara Family who is struggling financially and unable to provide gifts for their kids this year. We need to commit to providing a minimum of two gifts per person (family of six). Gifts (or donations) are needed by Sunday, Dec 4. One of the family members is a student of Project HOPE School. The school’s vision is to break the cycle of homelessness through exceptional education. 90% of the school’s students and their families are homeless.  Gifts, or money toward gifts, needed by Sunday DECEMBER 4. Two family members remain without gift commitments

BBQ RIDDIM BY ADDE INSTRUMENTALS {BONUS TRACK} "LIVING A LIE" BY MELLOQUENCE : :

Black Jaguar : : Man From Strat
Black Jaguar had this to say about his new album Man From Strat:
"I'm really proud of all the songs on my albums.  However unlike Paw Of A Jag where I was finding myself, I totally immersed myself into Man From Strat and I hope the maturity shows.

The inspiration for my albums and songs come from my love of music and the art form soca. Though I experimented with other genres of music on this album particularly with Drowning On A Rising Sun, I wanted to stay true to my Caribbean roots and culture.

I totally love the response from fans as they have been quite supportive and so looking forward to getting out there to perform and promote the full album.

I'm thankful for support from Team Jaguar, the DJ's and radio stations who play my music, the fans who listen, and those that also purchase my music, you are the ones that make it all possible.   PAWS UP!"

KIMBERLEY ANN!:
Kimberley Ann’s voice is beautiful and her words are truth. They will equally capture your attention and hold your heart and mind in the love and light that is her message to you. Singing and Song writing are her gifts and her tools. These she uses for thanks and praise whenever she is given the opportunity.

Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario to Caribbean parents and in Christian traditions she garners influence from her Caribbean Roots. Though Kimberley Ann’s main goal is always to inspire, motivate, and encourage people through reggae music she throughout her life as been inspired by all motivating artists with a good message.

Tender and innocent at the age of 7-years-old Kimberley Ann developed a sincere passion for singing. At nine years of age Kimberley wrote her first song. Though she cannot remember the name of what she calls “A little melody” she states, “It was my first time working through a song.“
At twenty-one Kimberley Ann completed a demo tape. Upon receiving positive feedback from a major record label’s A&R team in Toronto she was given full confirmation she holds inside what it takes to make it in the industry!

Kimberley Ann, who in 2005 went by the name Caylah, made her first mark on the music industry by independently releasing her debut album entitled “Wondrous Love”. The album’s combination of pop, rhythm and blues, with a gospel influence, was well liked by anyone who heard it.
After the release of Kimberley Ann’s first album she continued developing as an artist. She has shared the same stage with opening acts like gospel artists, Fred Hammond, A multiple Grammy, Dove Stellar award winner and Mary Mary, a duo which has released three gold albums.
Her sophomore album “One Song” released in September 2011 is now moving around the world and gathering new fans and listeners globally. Kimberley Ann describes the album as “liberating and uplifting music that will touch the hearts of many.” All of the songs on the album were written by Kimberley and co-produced with the undeniably talented producer Eddie Bullen.

Since the release of her 2011 album “One Song” Kimberley has settled back into writing while trying to further her music career through radio promotions, festivals and shows into 2012. It is her sincere hope she will be able to share her abilities with other talented producers and get back into the studio by late summer of 2012.

Kimberley Ann will continue to share her message and her gift with others. Her success is your awareness and your acceptance of not just her voice but her message!

It is you Kimberley Ann continually strives to uplift, and it is you her music chooses to hold. To Kimberley Ann these gifts from the Oneness that encompasses all of us were bestowed upon her to help restore Joy, Hope, and Harmony to all that are encompassed within this Oneness….to All People.

This gift, given to her from all that we are, and now being bestowed upon you is great because it has the ability to touch all. It is timeless because it now exists despite the time and space between all people within the hearts and minds of those it touches. Kimberley welcomes you to the One song family.

Gratitude and Thanksgiving Quotes

The unthankful heart... discovers no mercies; but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and, as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find, in every hour, some heavenly blessings! --Henry Ward Beecher

Grace isn't a little prayer you chant before receiving a meal. It's a way to live. --Jackie Windspear
Who does not thank for little will not thank for much. --Estonian Proverb

You say, 'If I had a little more, I should be very satisfied.' You make a mistake. If you are not content with what you have, you would not be satisfied if it were doubled. --Charles Haddon Spurgeon

You say grace before meals. All right. But I say grace before the concert and the opera, and grace before the play and pantomime, and grace before I open a book, and grace before sketching, painting, swimming, fencing, boxing, walking, playing, dancing and grace before I dip the pen in the ink. --G.K. Chesterton

God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say "thank you?" --William A. Ward

O Lord that lends me life, Lend me a heart replete with thankfulness! -- William Shakespeare

Gratitude consists of being more aware of what you have, than what you don’t. –Unknown

We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude. --Cynthia Ozick

Until I feared I would lose it, I never loved to read. One does not love breathing. --Harper Lee

To know the value of generosity, it is necessary to have suffered from the cold indifference of others. --Eugene Cloutier

Only a stomach that rarely feels hungry scorns common things. --Horace

Courtesies of a small and trivial character are the ones which strike deepest in the grateful and appreciating heart. --Henry Clay

How wonderful it would be if we could help our children and grandchildren to learn thanksgiving at an early age. Thanksgiving opens the doors. It changes a child's personality. A child is resentful, negative—or thankful. Thankful children want to give, they radiate happiness, they draw people. -- Sir John Templeton

Gratitude ... goes beyond the "mine" and "thine" and claims the truth that all of life is a pure gift. In the past I always thought of gratitude as a spontaneous response to the awareness of gifts received, but now I realize that gratitude can also be lived as a discipline. The discipline of gratitude is the explicit effort to acknowledge that all I am and have is given to me as a gift of love, a gift to be celebrated with joy. --Henri J. M. Nouwen

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. --Thornton Wilder

Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it --William Arthur Ward

If you wish, and we really wish you wouldn't, like to be removed from this list, please reply with REMOVE in subject line.

It will make us very sad if you do, and perhaps your removal will be the one the makes us decide this no longer worth doing at all, and all the information we provide will go away forever and musicians will sit home alone at night and cry because they have no one to play for because no one knows about their shows. Your call…..
