Words of Wisdom from our Members

academics,back to school,definitions,dictionaries,educates,Fotolia,knowledge,learning,letters,schools,studies,teaches,thinking,wisdom,words,writings

We are in the process of creating a new resource for our Family Comfort Care Kits. We began gathering information at our last Parent Group and are continuing to collect information.

  • If you could speak to yourself in the first few weeks after your child was diagnosed, what would you say?
  • What words of experience could you pass along to new families to help smooth a rough road?

As you know, we are a parent-to-parent group and it is through mutual support that we can help others by sharing our unique perspectives. We welcome submissions from all parents.

Email:  MRuddis@accoinlandnw.org with your hard earned wisdom.

We are also creating a Parent-to-Parent contact list. Are interested in being a parent mentor to new families? Email mruddis@accoinlandnw.org for details.
