Be part of America's heritage by celebrating Blues music and the artists who perform the classic American genre. The 11th annual “Blues in the Natural State” festival is coming to Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday and Saturday, April 5 and 6, 2013.
Produced by The Ozark Blues Society of Northwest Arkansas, this year’s festival features an outstanding line-up of Blues music representing the best of local, regional, national and world-stage musicians.
Two days, six music stages and more than twenty acts in all. Dickson Street will come alive with the sounds of America’s original music.
Blues music lovers will find festival acts at George’s Majestic Lounge and Garden Rooms, The Walton Arts Center's Starr Theater, Rogue, The Smoke & Barrel Tavern, and Kingfish Dive Bar.
The current roster of who will be appearing at the festival: John Lee Hooker Jr., Super Chikan and the Fighting Cocks, 2012 IBC solo winner Ray Bonneville, Earnest 'Guitar' Roy, Sonny Moorman, Lucious Spiller, Mark 'Muleman' Massey, RJ Mischo and his Red Hot Blues Band, Leah & the Mojo Doctors, The Chris Cameron Band, The Joe Pitts Band, The Ed Bowman/Mike Dollins Cruize Brothers Band, The North Texas Allstars (featuring Michael Burks Band Drummer - Popcorn), Mississippi Fever, David Kimbrough Jr., Buddy Shute, The Sarah Hughes Band, The Got Blues Band, Earl & Them, Oreo Blue, Jigsaw Mud featuring Lectric Liz, Ocie & the Heartsrings and a Celebration of Life for our dear friend Jeff Carey.
