In Loving Memory

Our hearts and prayers go out to all families struggling with the loss of their child.

Rebecca Smith passed away this past January. Our hearts and prayers go out to her family. Rebecca was diagnosed with leukemia in 2010.

Extending our Hand to New Families

Clay was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma this past December. Clay is sixteen years old and likes football, basketball, baseball, video games, and hunting. Clay is from Montana.

Jordan is 11 years old and likes drawing, books, video games, and legos. She was diagnosed with a sarcoma in January. Jordan has one sister and is from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Rowan is two years old and he was recently diagnosed with leukemia. Rowan is from Spokane and likes trucks and his dog “honey.”

We extend our support to these new families along with those who chose not to be listed. For assistance, please stop by our office, call 509-474-2759 or 509-443-4162, or email: office@accoinlandnw.org.

Nutrition Corner

Here's a handy tool that can help you identify foods you want to add or remove from your diet based upon their nutrient content. "Find foods with highest or lowest concentrations of specific nutrients."

You can use the tool without signing up as a member. The website also seems to offer quite a bit of free information and tracking abilities after signing up.

If you have found a helpful website or favorite recipe (especially the kid friendly, chemo picky, nutritious kind) you would like to share, please email: office@accoinlandnw.org
