Fire City: The Interpreter of Signs
For you creature feature fans: our filmmaker friends Michael Hayes and Brian Lubocki (for whom we sometimes contribute music) have launched the Kickstarter project, Fire City: The Interpreter of Signs. Academy Award-winning creature effects designer Tom Woodruff, Jr. (Alien3, X-Men, X-Files) directs his first film about a world of demons who live side by side with humans who don't recognize them for what they are. Described as a demon noir fantasy, the campaign has funded their $100,000 goal and has a few days left for people to continue to throw a few shekels in to help save the dying art of practical effects. Rewards are everything from a DVD of the film, to a set of demon tarot cards, to an on screen role as a demon! More Info
