Music Community and Friends Remember Dave Lawson

On November 9th, local musician Dave Lawson (also known as "Fiddle Dave") passed away as a result of a motorcycle accident that took place the previous day.  He was 58 years old.

Many wonderful remembrances and thoughts have been posted on various Facebook pages (including Dave's) this week.

Dave was active on the local music scene for many years... coming to other musician's shows, supporting live music and participating in local jams whenever he could.

The Funeral and Memorial Service for Dave is scheduled for Wednesday November 20th at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Rogers, Arkansas at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations  be made to the Food Pantry at St. Vincent's in Dave's memory.

Another Memorial for Dave is planned for Sunday, December 1st from 2pm to 8pm at George's Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville.  Come and celebrate the life of Dave!  Story Sharing Fellowship from 2-4pm  & Musician Memorial Jam 4-8pm.
