It was an incredible week of great blues with OBS Representative Lucious Spiller taking 2nd place in the solo/duo category!  Congratulations Lucious!
 
 
 
 
 
 

 
Tim Williams from the Calgary Blues Music Association taking 1st Place in the solo/duo category.  He also won this very cool cigar box guitar donated by ST Blues Guitars in Memphis.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Billy the Kid and the Regulators of the Blues Society of Western Pennsylvania take 3rd place in the Band Category.
 
 
 
 
 
The Ghost Town Blues Band from the Memphis Blues Society take 2nd place in the band competition.

2014 Blues in the Natural State Music Festival - Update
 
 
 
 
 
 
The Ozark Blues Society of Northwest Arkansas is pleased to announce some additional details on the 12th Annual Blues in the Natural State Music Festival!
 
  • Jose's 324 Ballroom has been added as an official venue for Saturday, April 5
  • Jose's Streetside and Fresco Cafe & Pub will be hosting blues acts on Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5
  • Advanced ticket sales will begin Today, January 31st and can be obtained on-line through the Ozark Blues Society's website or  purchased at George's Majestic Lounge Box Office.
 
The Dates:  The Festival will take place in Fayetteville on April 3 - 5, 2014.
 
Headlining:
  • Tab Benoit 
  • Royal Southern Brotherhood (featuring Devon Allman, Cyril Neville and Mike Zito)
  • Samantha Fish
  • The Cate Brothers
Also on the bill with, more acts to follow are:
  • Brick Fields and the Chosen Ones
  • Lucious Spiller
  • Earl & Them
  • Steve Pryor
  • Isayah's Allstars
The festival will begin with a free event co-produced with the Fayetteville Visitors Bureau at the April 3rd First Thursday on Fayetteville Square and will feature Samantha Fish.  
 
On Friday and Saturday, several venues in and around the Dickson Street Entertainment District will be used to showcase blues acts.  In addition to George's Majestic Lounge, we've added Jose's 324 Ballroom as an official festival venue.
 
 
Tickets:
  • Thursday - Free to the public
  • Friday & Saturday - Advanced Sales  - $20 for each day of the festival
