What we've been listening to!
This is a informative expose' on Chemtrails...  Inform yourself on what is being sprayed in our skies.

Here is a planetary update from the International Speaker and Author, Jim Self.

Check out these "pearls of wisdom" in her new book "The Lost Art of Loving", written by our dear friend Johanna Carroll available in Kindle and Book form.
Trees
Trees are sanctuaries. Whoever knows how to speak to them, whoever knows how to listen to them, can learn the truth. They do not preach learning and precepts, they preach undeterred by particulars, the ancient law of life.
~Hermann Hesse~
Keeping Warm
Using essences such as Rue (a few drops on the back of your neck), Cinnamon Bark, and Cardamon Seed in your tea/coffee or on the bottom of your feet, will add an extra layer of warmth to your body.  Try it and see.
Earth* Wisdom* Mastery
What a snowy, icy winter it has been for our Mid-Atlantic and East Coast family.  We trust that you are safe and warm and coping with the weather the best that you can.  Gratefully, we here on the West Coast, have had a super mild winter.  I have to say that I don't miss the harsh winters.  If I never scrape another window, or shovel a walkway, it will be too soon for me.  I was raised on the east coast and lived in the Northwest corner of CT for many years.  I do believe that this winter was a particularly difficult one. It speaks to the changes we are experiencing on Mother Earth. Just remember that spring is just a few weeks away and the flowers will bloom again.  They always do.

Having said that, if you are looking to get out of the cold, maybe the warm Arizona sun will entice you to come out to the Southwest to take our Level 2, and enjoy 5 blissful days of connecting to your self, your heart, the essences, and the Earth. If you have been a part of our Sacred Retreat before, perhaps you would like to audit and refresh your knowledge of the essences, as our program has changed.

Earth* Wisdom* Mastery*  A Sacred Retreat of Connection, Transformation and Manifestation

This 5-day Advanced Aromatherapy Retreat will bring you more deeply into the use of the plant and tree essences for healing and  transformation. There is time for rest and reflection, to enhance the deep immersion into exploring our beloved essences in new and different ways. Experience“A Day of the Heart”, A Day of the Essences”, “A Day of Connection”, “A Day of Mentoring” and “A Day of Ceremony”.  While each day has all of these interwoven into it, each aspect will be emphasized on its special day. You will leave the Retreat feeling fulfilled, uplifted and transformed. In this Retreat, we focus on what makes Wisdom of the Earth special, and what it is that our advanced students need from us to grow and blossom.

The Retreat will enhance each student's individual exploration, as well as provide opportunities for group interaction and relationship-building. Included are our "signature" Shaman's Cave experience, as well as morning and evening Medicine Wheel Ceremonies. We have also introduced a powerful Sunrise Ceremony, which inspires and energizes us all. We are tremendously excited to offer this unique and transformational experience, and are looking forward to our 2014 Level 2 Retreats on April 23-27 and October 8-12.

Your WOTE immersion into the essences will help deepen your relationship with them, with us, and each other.  It's an amazing journey for those willing to enter the mystery and the magic of the plants and trees.

There are a few spots left for the April Retreat and the early bird tuition ends on March 23, so register now.  We look forward to hearing from you.

Cats & Essential Essences
Last month, we featured Tresa Laferty, one of our brilliant teachers, and her work with essential essences on animals.  We covered the information on dogs and I promised that I would share her expertise when working with cats.

Dosage: Most cats – one drop.

Highlights on using essential oils on Cats:

♥ Put essence on towel/bedding so they can choose to be near it...or not.
♥ Sparingly use high phenol oils (Oregano, Melaleuca, Eucalyptus, Clove and others). Cats metabolize things differently from dogs and other animals.
♥ Cats tend to have adverse reactions to citrus products and citrus oils.  These oils are sometimes used to “deter” cats from frequenting areas...but some cats love them.
♥ Application suggestion: put essences on own hands, rub together until nearly dry and then pet or rub down the back of your cat.

Additional uses: sprinkle selected essences in crate or in the car to help with travel issues. Always use the same essence when you travel. Go into the hotel room first and put a few drops near the door inside your room (don’t select an extreme essences). This helps your animal feel “like home” and they will instinctively go to that door in the hotel since it smells like home.
