 It sounds eerie and fearful, to face the Dark Night of the Soul, and yet it is one of the most powerful times in your life.
Powerful because it is a sign you are waking up consciousness, healing the wounds and illusions of the past, and about to rebirth you into a more real, loving, true you!
The soul is always loving and whole, always oneness, and never lost or broken.
The dark night, is the birthing process of awakening you, and the path to introduce you to living your loving soul
It is the illusion of separation from our divinity, that keep the light that always shines inside of us, hidden away from our consciousness
It is the belief in the darkness that gives it power to hold us, until we free us to learn truth.
To awaken from the Dark Night of the Soul, is to awaken to your always present loving, knowing, wise self, soul and light

It is the illusions we thought were truth that we are afraid to let go of.

Having been through many rebirthing experiences in my life, the path becomes more refined in assisting others.
I know the territory, the blocks, fears, pain and beliefs that keep us stuck and afraid to move forward.
We must be willing to release the attachment to our illusions, wounds, fears and patterns, as well as roles and rules that define us, and do not work anymore.
The dark night is that battle between light and dark and good and evil.
Walk towards the light, love and truth, and leave the dark, angry, monsters behind.
You are more than those naysayers in your head elude to.
Leaving the old ways means changing everything, and that is good.
Seeing the world as a loving, accepting place allows a powerful new perspective.
Teaching you to support you with unconditional love is the key.
There is no darkness that cannot be dispelled with light.
As the sun comes up each morning to bring a new day, so can you be the light in your own world today.

The Abridged story of Be The Medicine and Janet StraightArrow
Imagine studying many traditions and ways of seeing the world, healing and enlightenment.
I have done this from the time I was fifteen looking for HOW to live mastery, health, unconditional love and acceptance and success in everyday life today.
I supported my mother and birth family through extreme challenges since I was little, I worked from the time I was ten to earn my way, and married young.
I was a mother, a wife, a racecar drive, sailboat captain, model and later head of household as a single parent, top producing realtor, healer, teacher, spiritual guide and coach and shaman…all while bringing all of the pieces together these forty-seven years.
Walking the walk in these many roles taught me a lot. Following my inner guide my soul-self is how I proceeded step-by-step.
Each tradition had many answers and many questions too. I was looking for Universal truth and how everyone can live free to be in these times.
All of the questions and challenges brought more learning and understanding on how the world on many levels of consciousness and belief works.
The opportunities and experiences were phenomenal and many masters asked me to stay to completion, and yet I knew there was more in exploring the Rainbow of traditions for my soul’s enlightenment and truth, that was guiding me from the inside.
I found that as a society we have gone backwards and not so wisely following illusions of value and importance in living. Fear leads too often, and the need to be approved of by others over self-knowledge and trust keeps many stuck.
I just renamed my coaching practice StraightArrow Out-Of-The-Box to illuminate our need to be free to let go of the constraints of our past and move into truth, freedom, wisdom, knowledge and healing to live our best lives collectively through individual change and growth.
Having this wide range of perspectives has helped me find the unifying truth in all.
Change is needed, no doubt. The change is in focus and living wisdom and letting go of the attachments that keep us stuck in the illusions of suffering and pain, disease and loneliness.
Be The Medicine is the body of work that spans many levels of us. We are the medicine, the answer, the change, the healing and solutions.
I walked away from a booming healing center and practice and took a sabbatical to bring all the pieces together in 2005. I thought it would be done in a year. As I came back to full time practice and living it took many more years to refine as I offered it to clients along the way.
My focus has been to break through illusions, many unknown by individuals, and bring people into their soul-wholeness in many ways.
The truth is simple, and the more I focused, the more I found ways to bring people to awareness and awakening easily.
Life is not complicated and neither is healing when you know and live universal laws easily.
Supporting; families, Healing professionals, healing clients, students and spiritual seekers has been rewarding. Being a witness to new life, and health and happiness and improved relationships and success, where non was believed possible is encouraging. My growth has occurred along with theirs.
I have known that I had an important mission since I was a young mother. Clear knowledge came through and told me I would begin the full purpose at the age of forty.
At forty no one was more surprised than me to find my calling as a Shaman. My immediate reaction was that it would not be in the way others have lived it before. And so it has been.
Always curious and following myself I was led to work with renowned teachers, healers and masters from around the world in groups and individually. All gave me new tools and perspectives that awakened more information, energy, enlightenment and everyday experiences.
I used great discernment while navigating uncharted territory; hundreds of students came along for the journey each year.
I was grateful to have two mentors who assisted in sorting things out in the early years. I had to rely on my inner master to get me through most of the new experiences as time went on.
The name of the first healing center, the container, and future resort healing and learning center is Oasis For The Soul. Wherever I am, people feel this sacred space to allow them to awaken, heal and be.
Both the names Be The Medicine and my name StraightArrow came to me in deep meditations later. Both make sense of the work and my purpose.
StraightArrow Out-of-the-Box Coaching came to me last week in another meditation. It is time to let go of trying to fit into boxes of others and find our own way to live free.
I found that people who live aligned with their own highest truth are healthy, secure and happy.
Becoming comfortable out-of-the-box is something I have dealt with all of my life.
Since I have lived universal and personal truth my life soars with love and peace.
By bridging the universal in all traditions and practices and discovering simple ways to experience and live them clients, students and followers of the writing are finding a new way to live health, happiness, truth, beauty, light, love and peace in everyday worlds.
Six years ago this week I thought I was ready to bring out the fullness of the work in many venues. Instead my youngest daughter Lisa died suddenly at the age of twenty-nine.
The experience changed my life and brought me into refining all of the work as I lived it to heal others and myself along the way.
I look forward this new opportunity to share the fullness of this new paradigm to living and healing.
