Dear

Inside Red Canna
by Georgia O'Keefe
***********************
When I was sixteen, I announced to my dad that I was going to write a book. He replied, “There's been enough books written.”  :( Thanks Dad.

Twenty-some years later I wrote my first book ANYWAY but while writing it, my harsh inner narrator would blurt out “There's been enough books written about creativity.”  Dad! Get out of my head.

I was writing about nine modern day muses (and a bodyguard) and working part-time in a bookstore and, unaware of the effect it would have on me, the bookstore owner held up BEST-SELLING author Angeles Arrien’s book, The Nine Muses and said, more here

Velma
As many of you know, I wrote a book about the nine modern day Muses (and a bodyguard), in fact I mentioned it in the article up there^. I wrote it to get through my own creative blocks of procrastination, resistance, and feelings of overwhelm. The Modern Day Muses are creative principles in the the guise of wily and wise Muses I can call upon when I need to outsmart my fears, habitual distractions, and ego. They've now helped thousands of people get to their creative call despite all the obstacles and fears that the creative process triggers.

In need of some systems to manage her growing coaching practice, Kaizen-Muse Creativity Master Coach Mary McDowall decided that instead of hiring a Virtual Assistant she would dig into her imagination to see if there was a simple solution. A delightful Virtual Virtual Assistant© named Velma Andersen waved back. ( it's not a typo, it's Virtual Virtual).

For Mary, getting to know Velma has been a series of intriguing, humorous and surprising, magical moments. With Velma’s help Mary has tackled those once dreaded tasks with focused small steps, ingenuity and a much better attitude that led to relative ease and joyful completion. AND RESULTS!

In fact, Velma and Mary think everyone can benefit from a VVA.  A VVA is not just for business it can be for almost anything from social media management to housework (although Velma refuses to do housework).  Want know more? Click this link, http://coaching_3.gr8.com/ and you can sign up for a free e-book that tells you the 7 Simple Steps to Get Your Own Super Savvy Virtual Virtual Assistant© along with an almost monthly Velma-zine, a printable foldable pocket-size nugget of VVA wisdom and tips and a link to a private Facebook group of VVA’s and their new employers.

Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching Certification Training
August 12 - December 9, 2015 (trainings begin every February and August)

Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching is an intuitive, non-linear, kind and gentle approach to mentoring those who want to make progress with creative pursuits or those who want to make progress in any area of their lives using creative tools. KMCC coaches work with people from any walk of life. The tools of KMCC are packaged in easy to explain, creative format making coaching easy for the mentor and applicable to the client. This is not linear life coaching because the creative person or the person wanting to think more creatively does not follow a linear progression of goals.

Here's some feedback from the class that just graduated:
This was one of the most meaningful, inspiring, impactful and loving trainings I have ever taken. Not only did I get exactly what I wanted from it- creative coaching tools and increased confidence in coaching but it far exceeded my expectations! I had so many epiphanies while doing the homework, I met amazing classmates (it was so easy to get to know people through reflections in call points, being on the calls and listening to recordings- great use of technology). I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know my practice coach and practice client and benefitted from their wisdom. I love my assigned master/mentor coach Kathy and the other master coaches were terrific- they all brought their own style and passion to the training. Of course, I am so very grateful to you Jill- I am in total awe of your creativity, your books, illustrations and this wonderful course you developed and delivered in a fun and engaging way. And I felt very cared about. Honestly, there is nothing I would have changed about this course (and I don't think I've ever said that about a course!) ~Jan Gottlieb, Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach

I am so glad to say that it was Jill's books that paved my way into signing up for the KMCC training. And am I thankful. This study course has given me so much more than I ever expected; knowledge about the creativity process, tools that truly work to keep the creativity flowing, my favorite has been the interaction with other students and master coaches.

My own creativity has been reinvigorated, and the importance of fostering creativity has been reconfirmed. When I consider the time before KMCC creativity coaching ever existed and compare it to what we have learned and experienced in the past four months, I'm overwhelmed by Jill's creative vision along with those who supported her. Thank you for sharing your gifts with our hungry creative souls. ~Anita Mack Beatty, Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coach

Here was the challenge from last month: Make a list of at least three titles for the above image. Use one of those titles for a poem or short piece of writing, or use the combination of all the titles as your writing adding more words as needed. The writing doesn't need to relate to the image.  I enjoyed all the entries. Thank you.

Disco Donut
From the outside, I’m just a hodge podge junk snack of sugar and gluten. If I am not dairy free, people will not even touch me! What is the deal? Why can’t people see past the nutrition hype and know what I am all about? And the labeling; RDAs don’t tell the real story at all. I just wish you knew the truth… like insider Inner Tube Perfection I say! It is like a love light party here on the inside! The sprinkles don’t even do me justice.
You see only empty calories, but all I see is disco colored goodness.

^ This is one of the reasons Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching was designed. Tell a creative person exactly what they need to do to reach their dream, and they won't do it because you told them to.  KMCC is helping creative people through the ingenuity of questions, suggestions, structure, inspiration, real-time experiences tools and tricks. It is NOT telling them what to do.  www.kaizenmuse.com
