If you are like many of us time of year ends up feeling like just a big countdown. You hear it on the TV in ads....you see it in emails as online retailers give you updates on last dates for free and expedited shipping...and if you read print media or visit stores you get the same picture. I suppose there are two camps on the countdown, those that find it exciting as a myriad of preparations are put into play as "the big day" approaches and those who find it wearying as they try to keep up with day to day life AND all the holiday extras. Either way it is surely a change of routine that begins Thanksgiving week and becomes more and more pronounced until we hit New Years Day.
So this week I am going to play off the holiday countdown change in routine and add to the calendar a number of local Christmas events that are more family oriented. If you get a chance drop me a note and let me know if you enjoy the change.
Since everyone will be busy with family, next week's Christmas edition Newsletter will likely be pretty limited. If you are one who doesn't get around to reading it, let me on behalf of Ozark Blues Society, wish you the very Merriest of Christmases!

Jimmy knows that having a CD of your work to share with promoters and to sell to new fans is a BIG benefit. So, let's step up and show Jimmy some love by helping support his fundraising efforts that are needed to produce his CD. Check out the link below to share your support.
