Harper and Midwest Kind :: SHOW YOUR LOVE
Show Your Love is an amalgamation of original blues, rock, soul and world music, by Detroit based, Australian singer/songwriter, Peter D. Harper, known as Harper, who creates a heady mix of roots music through his creative use of the harmonica, and the haunting drone of the didgeridoo. Borrowing from western and world music, this musical visionary develops a highly original take on the roots genre. Harper is a multiple award, winning musician honored with 14 x music awards in four different countries.

Harper’s powerful soulful voice rips through this all original 11-song CD with passion and integrity. His use of the deeply spiritual didgeridoo creates a raw and eerie sonic texture.

With sonic influences from the earliest era of the Delta masters to the most modern rock n’ roll titans...

Genoa Blues Festival will be back in 2017
By Tim Parsons Tahoe/OnStage

“I do it for the musicians and the music,” said Genoa Blues Festival Promoter Brad Andres, who put on his first public event. “Food and music together soothe the soul. Everyone was happy. I didn’t see anyone who wasn’t smiling from ear to ear.”

Kim Emmer and David Lee Clark.Louisiana’s Kenny Neal, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, headlined the concert. He was backed by his brothers, Frederick on keys, Graylon on drums and Darnell on bass. Grady Champion, of Canton, Mississippi, the 2010 International Blues Challenge winner, performed and was backed by Reno’s Buddy Emmer Blues Band
