Blues News You Can Use!
 End of Summer

It's really hitting this weekend....
the end of summer long weekend
(for most) in celebration of Labor Day...and first home game for
the Razorbacks. The holiday \weekend weather looks amazing...hope everyone has
some fun activity planned!
Soon the Blues Challenge Competitor Page will be up and you can check out the information on acts in our challenge. Keep an eye on the OZARK BLUES SOCIETY web page to get the latest updates. Remember, for anyone who plans to register, now is the time.  Your early registration will allow us to help you promote your act's participation in this year's challenge. And as I mentioned last week, though there is not a separate category that includes "crowd reaction" most of us know that it helps the judges gauge
an act's "stage presence" when they see how you can move the crowd so all you fans, mark your calendars!
Again this week's calendar is full of
live music opportunities. Always remember, if I am missing YOUR information... or that of your favorite band or venue, you need to email me! I want this newsletter to offer you the
information you, the reader, finds helpful. Also please send any ideas or comments to me anytime at:

You have to open your mind. I like the ability to express myself in a deep way. It's the closest music to our humanity - it's like a folk music that rises up out of a culture.
