Dear theatre colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to join us as the WNC Theatre League and the Montford Park Players host the fifteenth annual Western North Carolina Theatre League Unified Auditions Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Owen Theatre on the campus of Mars Hill University, 44 College St, Mars Hill NC.
Modeled after the Southeastern Theatre Conference and National Outdoor Theatre Auditions, the annual event allows local actors and technicians to showcase their talents in a professional audition setting for a variety of companies throughout the region. The auditions have drawn up to 23 theatre, media and talent companies.
The purpose of the Unified Auditions is to develop a database of local actors and technical artists for regional, community and professional companies.
This year, at no charge, you may bring up to four of your staff. The fee includes:

buffet lunch

snacks and drinks throughout the day in the Company Lounge on the same floor as the Theatre

callback rooms for private actor/tech interviews

dance audition
-
Additional staff members can be accommodated for an additional $5.00 per person
Here's the schedule
Saturday, March 17, 2018
Youth Auditions, 9:30 am (if an actor will not have reached their 18th birthday by May 1, 2018)
Actor Auditions, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
Lunch Break and Mingle time, 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm
Actor Auditions, 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Technical Interviews, for designers, directors, stage managers, musicians and technicians, will follow the actor auditions. Sign up on the boards in the lobby to interview. Interviews will be held in the company interview rooms.
Callbacks will be held beginning shortly after 4:00 pm or 15 minutes after the last actor has auditioned.
Dance Auditions, dancers, choreographers, 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm or 15 minutes after the last actor has auditioned.
If you have more than four company members attending, you can either pay your registration fee online at http://www.unifiedauditions.org/pay-application-fee/, pay when you arrive or we can invoice you. Use the drop-down box to select the appropriate category.
