Blacklist / Blocking
An blacklist refers to when ISPs (Internet Service Providers) block certain IP addresses of known and suspected spammers. Just a few spam complaints can place an email service provider (ESP) or IP address on a blacklist despite the fact that the ratio of complaints to volume of emails sent is extremely low; therefore, it is extremely important to follow the CAN-SPAM Act and never send unsolicited email.
