Spring is a time to wake up and appreciate the gift of life. Waking up to singing birds, sunshine, warm air and flowers makes us glad to be alive. The year 2006 holds great promise for all of us. It is a time for awakening. What can we do to take advantage of this opportunity?

Spring-cleaning has traditionally been a time to let the sun into your life. Clear out the cobwebs, wash curtains and blankets, empty drawers, closets, garages, basements and throw away or recycle what does not serve you. We can use this analogy with your entire life. Clear out body, mind, spirit, as well as your home and office.

In order for things to be better we have to learn to release and clear known and unknown thoughts, patterns, people and things that have held us back from movement and new creation.

During this past astrological year the planets in the sky have been in strong tension and challenging aspects affording us the opportunity to prepare to break away and allow the new opportunities to open up. All of the many planets that moved retrograde allowed us to review many things in order to decide what works and does not work for us. There are still a few planets in this reverse movement cycle while most are now full steam ahead.

Now is the time. The planets in the sky are moving into more of an alignment of flow and an awakening. Life is unfolding before you. Are you clearing out the places in your life that may be holding you back? Are you ready to take action?

Moving forward in your life takes effort. You must no longer tolerate what does not work, make room for the new to appear and take form if you truly want change in your life. Do not waste energy and space that could be filled with new options, opportunities, partners, people, jobs, fun and more. Utilize this powerful spring energy to clear out and begin a new life. Step out of your old patterns and boxes into new spaces of discovery and possibility. It takes courage and desire for movement and change.

New Moon April 27th � Move Forward

The sun and the moon are at the same degree of the same sign once each month. It is a power time. You can use the energy of the moon, giving you an opportunity to begin fresh with new intentions and movement in areas of your life.

April 27^th is the next new moon; it is in Taurus, an earth sign. This earth is grounding our new visions and building foundations for this New Year and cycle of life. This new moon is also recreating the astrological challenging grand cross that affected us all last year. This energy can help us see and feel old stuck places in order to clear out and move forward as the sun and moon moves forward, into the new healthier happier spaces.

Do not be afraid to feel the need to change and let go when you feel the need to move. It has always been my experience that when I let go and jump off the cliff, I land in a better place.

Oasis For The Soul � Relocating to Woodstock NY

On April 27th I am jumping off to move to Woodstock, New York. This place has been calling me for years and now it is the time for me to relocate. Oasis For The Soul will now also be based in Woodstock. A center is being developed and many more opportunities have opened since I decided to move last month. I will continue to work in New Jersey and Massachusetts and will travel to groups as called.

This is a time of great change for all of us. This spring is only the beginning. Keep listening to your heart and body and move according to your knowing. Your mind may have a lot to say but your body and heart speak the truth.

Getting Unstuck

One of the most common problems people speak of is of being stuck. Whether it be job, relationship, money, emotions, health or achievements a common belief is that one is stuck and not able to move forward in the way they would like to.

Everything is an illusion capable of transforming in a moment. The best way to begin getting unstuck is to learn to see and then let go of whatever is holding you. When we are stuck we feel powerless and experience limitations as real. The reality is that no one is holding you hostage except for your mind, thoughts and beliefs.

Imagine being the eagle, lift out of your body and look at yourself from above. Look from a new perspective and listen as an observer detached unlocked from emotions and feelings of limitation. This experience can allow you to taking a break from the onslaught of fear, doubt and the round robin of internal dialogue that has kept you trapped in old perceptions.

I am always awed at how quickly things can transform and be a totally different experience. You wake up one morning and the day is amazing. You feel positive, creative and productive. Sunny or raining it is a glorious day full of potential. This attitude and focus creates your day. The very next day you wake up fearful, anxious and depressed. The day unfolds to be challenging at every turn.

Whatever causes the day to feel different, begin to take charge of your day. Remembering that no matter how bad one day or moment feels the next one can be wonderful.
