The Power of Surrender

Surrender. This is one of the most powerful actions you can take if you are trying to manifest something. The definition of surrender is to 'give up' - to yield, or the relinquishment of one's own will. When you give up, it means you stop fighting, you stop pushing and you let go.

To surrender is sometimes the last step in a long movement of manifesting something you have waited for. Have you ever tried to make something work and you keep hitting blocks? You try one method, than another and they all lead to the road of no where. That is when you surrender. During Spring, it is time to just let go of all the fears of what your manifestation will look like. You created a vision, sowed the seeds now let the flower blossom with divine trust.

There's anticipation. How it will come? How do I orchestrate it's arrival? It is time to surrender and then you will be reborn. The classic example of surrender is the story of Jesus. He went into the dessert to meditate and knew his fate. Once he was taken to be crucified on the cross he stopped fighting and stated -'Father forgive them, for they do not know what they do'. He surrendered and then was reborn. So if you are waiting to create something. A book, new relationship, a creative project. When you hit a wall and have tried everything, and are waiting for that final outcome, it is time to surrender and be reborn. Happy Easter and Passover.

Overcoming Obstacles

Once someone has created what they want, how do they overcome fear. Fear is when you get the job that you always wanted and then are too afraid to take the first step to walk through the door. You go in late your first day or another self sabotage tactic. How do you overcome obstacles? It is to walk in Faith. Faith is the feeling or trust that everything is happening in your life for the best and highest good. (Not easy!!) The belief that even though you may see negative circumstances in front of you, they can be overcome. You can wash away the negative, by focusing on how the flow of life goes through highs and lows. When it is low, pump up your faith and when it is high you embrace the joy of what you have created with GRATITUDE.

Life is like an ocean it can be, like a roaring sea, or a calming tide. You CAN overcome obstacles.. when you TRUST in the process of life. So what are the steps to overcoming obstacles. 1) Change the way you look at things. As Wayne Dayer, PHd states, "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change". Perspective is all from the observer. Start imagining the positive outcome and it will manifest. 2) What you Focus on Expands - Whatever you focus on grows larger in your life. When you feed negativity it becomes larger and larger. Worry is truly a demon! So feed yourself positive thoughts. Put positive people around you, music, art anything that can inspire. 3) Believe you can and deserve the best. Really work on your beliefs. If you have negative beliefs that don't serve you, try releasing them, by stating the opposite. Write down a positive affirmation from that belief. Put it up in your house, repeat it to yourself. Theta healing also removes negative beliefs and I can assist you with that process. 4) Trust, trust the process of life. It is a journey not a destination. I think I am just beginning to learn that. Sweep away the Old

Spring is a great time to get rid of things that do not serve you. This is the moment to release things that are keeping you stagnant. Do you have too many clothes in your closet that you are not using? Old books that you need to give away? Old habits that need to be contained? Sweep away the old things by releasing them.

A Native American seer revealed to me this powerful meditation to release old energy, people or images that are holding you back. Go into a deep meditation by watching your breathe. Secure yourself in the moment by grounding your energy by running a golden cord into the earth and connecting a gold cord onto GOD source. Imagine an energy bubble around you. Once you feel connected to the earth and heaven, imagine drawing up energy from earth and energy from the heaven that feeds this energy bubble and makes it expand from your physical body.

Think of an event or issue you want to release. Imagine a fire behind you and logs in front of you. Label the log with something you want to release. It could be a person, habit, or negative thought form. Imagine everything about the situation with thoughts, feelings and visual details. Once it feels real, throw the log into the fire and imagine the issue dissipating. You must Sweep away the old and leave room for the new!!

Obviously you see a theme in this newsletter. This year is a powerful year to let go, release and surrender. It is a 9 year, 2007 adds up to a 9. This is the year of completion, ending, and the first part of the year is about getting your seeds planted and then watching them grow. It is a universal year 9 for all, so don't be surprised if there are major changes. Hang in there it can be very challenging, but also powerful. I am here to help you be reborn.
