Do You Remember - September

September. I love that song by Earth Wind and Fire. It is so upbeat and positive and it somehow reminds me of the cycle of life. Remembering what I have accomplished, where I have gone and what I have experienced is very invigorating. Summer is over, and every school child is getting ready for a new school year. Usually there is excitement from children who are changing grades and anticipation of having new teachers, seeing old friends and new locker numbers. I even found myself buying new shoes, and a school bag.. like I needed new shoes for school! Most importanly I am remembering what goals I have done and how do I want to continue expanding my work. Strangely I have been seeing and connecting with people I have not seen in 6 years.. when I first moved to Los Angeles. I know this is a sign to re-think what my original ambitions were when I move to the left coast. Whenever you see an old friend or things that remind you of the past, it is time to remember and reflect.

What goals do you need to look at? Career, relationships, health? What wishes do you wish to fulfill? Still stumped? What did you want to do when you were in the first grade, 2nd or third grades? Are you doing those things? Are you happy in your career? Are you living your dreams? When I was in 3rd grade I won the reading award. When I was in 4th grade I won the science award and was in the local newspaper. When I was in 8th Grade I wrote an essay that became my classes' eighth grade graduation speech that I read in front of my classmates.

I see now how the universe was already setting up my life to be a writer, lecturer and metaphysician! Your angels are setting up your life too. Your gifts are already there. You just have to do what you love and what you are good at and the energy of your souls' journey will come through.

So what inspiring memories do you have? What do you daydream about? What do you imagine? Please don't lose touch with them, they are at your fingertips. Listen to the angel whispers and recall the memories that made you feel good and believe they can come true. This is the time to Remember. Ba de ah de ah!!

Accepting What Is

Recently in meditation I was seeking an answer to a question that had befuddled me. As I listened inward I heard this message; accept what is. At that moment I was wondering about the result of a recent attempt to manifest something in my life. So since I work on a intuitive counseling hotline, I thought of course to call all my firends to figure out their insight on the outcome. All my intuitive readers gave me such positive hope, but then I realized the the deeper truth. It probably will manifest but not in the time I might have wanted or worst not at all. The answer is that I needed to accept what is.

In life this is a hard one. Accepting all aspects of our life, as okay with us, when there are still unanswered questions. Just being at Peace in the moment, no matter what curve ball comes your way. Remember whatever we focus on we attract. So if I am staying in the fear of it never happening.. It won't. If I push against a wall, eventually I will hit my head.

Accepting where you are in life, helps to free up the fear that will draw in more of the same thing you are fearing. When you just accept your 'plight' the universe now has the opening and the avenue for you to get your answers to your problem. You are not in fear, and your spiritual channel is open. When I accepted my predicament of maybe a timing issue, I had more energy to invest my time elsewhere. I gained inspiration from a book, and more ideas how to move forward with my life's work just popped into my head. The universe also has surprises that even a seasoned reader may not see. Our minds can recreate any outcome, so keep positive. Late August has been a time of remembering, reflecting, opening and in essence activating my spiritual choice of freedom to accept what is.

Believing in the Mystical

We are all mystics. Your concious mind, is the mind of God and all others beings on the planet. Strange right? We are all interconnected and our universal mind is one. Have you ever thought of someone and then they called you? Have you had an insight to go to a certain store and then bump into an old friend who gave you a message, that helped you tremendously. There is an energy grid of one like mind and we are are connected. It is like the internet but with a spiritual twist. We must start believing in the mystical experiences of life.

A friend of mind, from Columbia Univ. in NYC contacted me out the blue. I knew her 12 years ago. Barbara said, 'Remember the conversations we had about the mystical, it had an impact on me'. She now has 3 beautiful babies (under the age of 2 - yikes) and the smallest she swears is seeing angels.. she is!! Children often still have the innocence to see spirits. Their beliefs have not been tainted, by the negative programming of disbelieving in spirits. Believing in the mystical is to open your eyes like a new born baby and to look at life with wonder and excitement. Believe in synchronicity, magic, intuition, coicindences and God chills. The more you believe in the mystical the more you will see it.

We are all mystical and we all have great spiritual abilities that are usually untapped. The universe is very magical. All we have to do is ask for something and the universe will start aligning things to have it come into creation. We have to
believe there are angels and spirit guides. Ask for them to give you guidance and comfort you.
