Halloween - Spirits Among Us

October is a very earth oriented month for me. Carving pumpkins, making apple cider and harvesting turnips and squash. The energy of communing with the earth before winter comes in, is a very natural feeling. October is also the month of Halloween when the veil between heaven and earth is pulled back to its thinnest. This is when the spirits are easily accessible to those on the physical plane. It is called "Hallows eve", or "Holy Eve". You see your spirit never dies, it just transforms to another vibration after death. Ghosts are just beings that transition from the 3rd dimension to the fourth but they don't move past it and get stuck on earth. Some people can see ghosts. I have seen and felt many. My mother and I have shared stories of spirits in our house, or discussing seeing my grandmother, who passed almost ten years ago.

Usually ghosts are tortured souls that haven't let go of the earth plane. They haven't been able to move to the light because they don't understand it, fear it or are ashamed of their lives on the physical plane and feel that they will be judged when they cross over.

Spirits are everywhere and on Halloween the veil is lifted between heaven and earth so it is an easier time to connect to a relative that may have passed on. It is also time to honor the totality of our soul. Becoming aware that our soul is always 'whole' meaning 'holy' and complete. It is our judgment towards our soul and towards ourselves that limit us. As Halloween approaches this month honor your spirit side. Learn to listen to your soul and trust your inspirations. I will be having a day meditation and intuitive trusting group on October 20th.

Let's worship our Soul the souls of those that have crossed and bless the souls in limbo. Light a candle for a loved one that has crossed over. Honor the spirits amongst us.

The Signs of Nature

Recently I was contemplating my life while taking a walk in my neighborhood. I was very inspired by the beautiful nature that surrounded me. I realized that nature was alive and I wanted to communicate with it. So I asked for my environment to give me messages. I was wondering about having children, just a thought in my head. Immediately then on the street I saw a baby bib. I guess my option is still there. I kept walking and saw a guy climbing a tree with spikes and a rope he was attempting to prune the dead palm leaves off the tree. I was mesmerized how fast he climbed up to the top. At the time, I was thinking about my work and helping others. I saw this as a sign to reach for new heights and I would move quickly. The dropping of the dead palm leaves meant to prune away the dead past.

I then kept walking and entered the La brea Tar Pits and park. I climbed to a top of the conservatory and sat at the side of the mini mountain. As I was looking at the park from a different perspective and a heightened view I wondered if I should do more speeches. As that thought entered my mind, I watched as a group of birds landed on the lawn in front of me. Than more and more came forward. To me it was like an audience and I was at the podium. Then I heard the message "if you speak they will come." When I thanked the birds out loud for there message.. they flew away, like I had finished my speech.

When I asked myself how will I be able to do it.. I walked past two large statues of lions and realized the universe, my environment would give me the courage. (Lions represent courage to me.) Now I know you may think that I am reading into these signs.. but I wasn't' How else does the universe speak to you but through symbolic signs. When I do readings it is the same procedure, the spirits talk to me through visual images, physical sensations and archetypal signs in the the cards through law of attraction.

Try this yourself. Take a walk and ask for nature to tell you a story and then go with your original gut or first impression. There are signs in nature..just open up your senses and imagination and listen!

Eat from the Earth Heal from the Heart

Recently I went to a spiritual retreat center and food detox r called Optimum Health Institute, (OHI). It is a great place based on the Essenes in the bible. This was allegedly Jesus' tribe of Israelis that ate raw food, prayed and meditated in the dessert. Through these rituals, you get clearer with your inner world and don't let food and external circumstances run your life.

At OHI, you eat only raw food and your remove all the toxins in your body. You eat 4 ounces of wheat grass, get colonics, eat vegetables from their garden and start to 'become clear.' The salt and sugars and preservatives in food really affect your clarity of thought. For example you mix flour with water and you know you have glue! Yes real glue. That substance sticks to your colon and insides and affects the functions of your organs. Green leafy raw food cleanses your insides that help to assist cleaning out your colon.

I was able to meditate regularly and was surprised how clear I was about myself, my life, my purpose. I met wonderful friends had no cell phone, read two books and lost weight.

I highly recommend a mental, spiritual detox of the mind and body. It helps you get rid of the comfort food and get connected to truth. I felt relaxed and at ease. It is a challenge to keep up the discipline of daily meditation, walking, journaling, but the outcome is well worth it.

Earth food has a very natural way of healing you. Even once a week why not fast with just fruit for a day or drink vegetable juice. Relieve your digestive system and gain natural nourishment. Mother earth is trying to heal you. Drink of her milk, eat of her produce. Get back to nature, and begin to heal your heart.

Expand your horizons

No matter where you are in life.. you have to expand your horizons. Your natural spirit is not stagnant. Creativity keeps growing, expanding changing and moving. That is why the universe is so vast and deep. The cosmos keep transforming. They are literally universes born every minute. Probably worlds that are more advanced than ours. The Universe is infinite and vast!

Every day in life try to improve your life just a little bit. It you are working on kindness. Than help that little old lady in the store. If you want to have more integrity, than honor truth, be honest and don't condone gossip. If you have a dream, wish, desire or fantasy, do something every day to that inspires and moves your heart. It is baby steps that get you closer to your goal. It is discipline that helps your create your dreams. It is spiritual trusting that reveals the friendliness and support of the universe. Expand your horizons.. every day. How do you do that? Just go within Ask and know it will happen!
