Grammy Update- Meet the designer!!!
January has nearly gotten away from me, we are suddenly two weeks away from the 50th annual Grammy Awards....
The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008- so tune in and watch the red carpet!
Caryne (pronounced Caren) Finlay is a absolutely amazing designer is creating outfits that I will be wearing to the award show.
About Caryne:
Caryne Finlay is an award-winning designer creating couture artwear coats and garments utilizing vintage kimono and textiles from Japan. Caryne also designs pieces incorporating her own hand-dyed silks based on themes taken from nature and the surrounding environment. Her incredible attention to detail, and incorporation of very personal elements make these couture pieces a incredibly beautiful compliment to the individual wearing the designs
The final details are being completed as we speak and I will be providing you with photo's of the finished projects-
You will be hearing alot more about Caryne in the very near future, Look for her work in Fashion shows, Ballet, and Galleries.

ATTN. SONGWRITERS!!!
Folks have been asking whether I teach songwriting classes-
I am currently teaching some private lessons.
AND
I am currently coordinating a 4 week class that will begin the week of Feb 17th for 6-10 aspiring songwriters-
who will meet for 1.5 hour a week at my studio in Berkeley.
Classes will have an assignment each week, and you will return the following week with your "song" that I and the class will provide feedback on. The exercises are easy, and a great way for you to explore your inner Joni Mitchell, Avril Lavingne or Bruce Springsteen...
You don't have to play an instrument- but if you do bring it... if you don't play be ready to sing your song ;-) don't worry it's not a singing class it's all about the song structure and melody
1:1 4wk lesson: $240 ($60/lesson)
Group lesson: $180 ($45/lesson)
