Hello Everyone,
I hope this message finds you doing well and getting yourself prepared for the holidays. I also hope that you enjoyed your Thanksgiving. Bob and I want to take a moment to wish you all a very happy holiday and a happy new year. We hope that 2009 is full of good things for you and your family.
As we all know time flies, even when your not having fun. December is going to be one of those months that is here and gone before you know it. So, if you are having a difficult month, know that it will be over before you know it. December is going to bring a little bit of chaos and several distractions that may throw you off course. Hang in there, the last week of December will bring happiness and comfort to most of you.
Remember that the holiday's are a special time for us all to come together as one. We should also remember that we should not have to wait for the holiday to come together and help others in need. Now is also a time for making peace and reconciling with an old friend or family member. One of the best gifts you can give this holiday season is the gift of love and caring for others.
You do not have to spend a fortune to remind someone that you love them and care about them. My mother always said "It is the thought that counts the most". That has always stuck in my head since a child and I did not learn to understand that until I got older, and of course my mother was right. It is not the price of the gift that matters. If you find yourself in a financial crunch, try making something special for friends and family. Make a special card, or bake a special surprise. There is no need to go overboard, especially if you can not afford to do so.
As this month comes to a close you must also focus on your health. If you have not gotten a flu shot, then you may consider doing that before the holiday. December will bring below average temperatures and above average snow fall throughout the states. January will take a turn into more mild temperatures which will in turn bring on a cold, the flu or maybe worse. January will be a record breaker for colds and flu, so take care of yourself and be sure to take a multi-vitamin along with some vitamin C. February will cause most of us to hide in doors due to some record breaking cold temperatures and snow fall. March will not be much better. Spend the winter months getting some work done inside your home. A great time to clean up the clutter.
Spring can not get here fast enough. The winters weather will be a reminder that we need to take care of ourselves and begin cleaning up the clutter in our lives and in our homes. April will bring back warm temperature and a nice boost into the economy. Until then, spend less money and focus more time on your health and on fulfilling your dreams and goals for 2009. 2009 will bring so many ups and downs not only in the economy, but in our lives. 2009 will be a major year for change and it is up to you to live with a positive attitude so that it will in turn bring positive changes to your life.
Remember that helping others in any way you can is good karma. We are all familiar with the saying "What comes around goes around". A saying that is so true and a reminder to always live a positive life. No matter how tough things may be for you, there is always someone in this world that is in a worse place then you are. Be grateful for the things and the people in our lives. It is the little things that are really important and the little things that we seem to forget about until they are gone. Appreciate everything in life before it is gone and you realize that you have lost something you never stopped to take a moment to enjoy and appreciate.
I appreciate everything in my life including each and every one of you. Thank you for all of your support over the past year with my work and our drive to raise money and awareness to so many causes such as breast cancer. Remember that your deceased loved ones are with you during the holiday's and when you are having a struggle in your life. They are watching over you seeing the accomplishments in your life and they hear you when you are talking and praying to them. Thank you for taking the time to read my newsletters, my blog and for tuning into my weekly radio show, Once again we wish you a very happy holiday and a new year full of good positive changes in your life. I look forward to your continued support in 2009.

TOYS FOR TOTS TOY DRIVE
|
So many children do not have the opportunity to open up a present on Christmas morning. We believe in our hearts that every child should wake up Christmas morning with at least one present to open. Christmas is for children and due to this years economy, there will be even less children opening a present this holiday season. This does not have to happen. We can all pitch in and help.
We are pulling together with WBCB radio in their drive to gather as many new, unwrapped toys as possibly for children in need. Just think of the smile you can put on a child's face this holiday season. You can bring your new, unwrapped toy to many drop off points throughout the area. You can also tune into Joseph's radio show on Tuesday for a list of other drop off points.
If you are attending Joseph's event at the Holiday Inn this Friday December 5, you can bring a toy along with you. There will be a drop off box at the event. If you are planning on purchasing a book or CD at the event, ask for a coupon in exchange when you drop off you toy and you will get $5.00 off your book or CD purchase.
If you have an appointment with Joseph for a Home Gallery or Private reading, you can bring a toy with you. You can also get $5.00 off Joseph's book or CD in exchange for your toy donation. $5.00 off is only valid on the day issued and is not valid for online sales.
You may also bring a toy to one of Joseph's live remote radio shows on Tuesday between 4 and 5pm. Get the opportunity to be on the radio live and ask Joseph a question to receive a mini reading in exchange for your toy donation.

Special Fund-Raiser Sunday January 25
|
On
February 7, 2003, life changed dramatically for 10 month old Caroline
Hope Lanctot, daughter of Mike and Jodi Lanctot. A car accident on a
snowy road left this adorable baby with severe spinal cord and head
injuries. Her injuries were so extensive that doctors said it was a
miracle that she made it to the hospital alive. For three excruciating
days the pressure in Caroline’s brain rose to dangerously high levels.
Caroline’s condition then began to stabilize and slowly improve. Jodi
was also seriously injured and suffered brain trauma. She remained in a
coma for almost a month and to this day continues to receive physical,
occupational and speech therapy.
Caroline is now four
years old and has experienced more pain in her lifetime than anyone
should have to bear. The accident left her with a trach attached to a
ventilator, although she can sporadically take breaths on her own. She
is also feeding tube dependent and paralyzed. Surgery to fuse her top
three vertebrae with bone from her hip has allowed her to gain some
movement and feeling throughout her body.
Caroline’s joy and
resolve is both amazing and inspirational to watch. Her progress is a
testimony to the strength of this remarkable child. The years will be
filled with more surgery and rehabilitation, but for Caroline, that’s
too far in the future. Right now she confronts life one day at a time,
with a spirit that is truly amazing.

Readings With Joseph
|
|
As many of you know, we are working off a waiting list for readings with Joseph. Slowly but surely the list is getting smaller. We are not taking new names for private readings or phone readings at this time. However, we are taking names for home galleries. There is currently a wait of up to one year for private readings. The wait for a home gallery is only a few months. We will begin adding new names to the waiting list sometime in the early spring. If you are interested in holding a home gallery, you can contact Bob at the office Wednesday through Friday between 12 noon and 5pm. If you are on the waiting list please have patience and Bob wll be calling you soon. Thank you everyone.
