Welcome

We are deep in the planning process for the RSNA 2009 Annual Meeting.  Our Technical Exhibition Center (previously referred to as the RSNA Exhibitor Prospectus), including the floor plan for all three exhibit floors, has been posted.

The Technical Exhibition Center is where you can access your application and other important forms, and peruse the opportunities available to your company so that you can make the most out of your participation.

The online Technical Exhibition Center makes it easy for you to explore, connect, research your options and reach your goals for RSNA 2009.

Three-Hall Exhibition Layout

The three hall layout was a success.  We were able to accommodate more companies by allowing them a chance to expand their exhibit space as well as providing additional food outlets on the show floor for easy access by both attendees and exhibitors.

According to all indicators (RFID, lead retrieval reports, committee observations) the traffic flow on show floors was steady throughout the week and especially busy around the noon hour.

The 2009 floor plan is posted on the Technical Exhibition Center for viewing. On March 30, we will be posting the RSNA Exhibitor Space Application/Contract where you can process your company's exhibit space needs for this year's exhibition.

The Bistro is Back!

Last year, we introduced the Bistro RSNA concept which attracted more attendees to the show floor than ever before!  Offering a variety of good food via buffet style was a big hit with attendees as they looked to get served quickly for a reasonable price.

A number of companies participated in reserving tables and tickets in all three Halls.  Before arriving to the McCormick Place, companies purchased over 4,000+ meal tickets.

Bistro patrons were surveyed and vast majority responded positively:

  •    Seated quickly (in 5 minutes or less)
  •    Hosts were friendly & helpful
  •    Felt the value & quality of food was delivered
86% of companies expressed that they would reserve a table and tickets at our 2009 exhibition!

Details about 2009 Bistro RSNA will be posted on here

Revised Space Assignment Point System

RSNA has revised the Priority Point System used during the space assignment process.   Companies who submit their application by May 1 will be awarded (4) historical points for each year they have exhibited at the RSNA annual meeting, beginning in 1996.  The maximum number of priority points earned will be 56.   First-time exhibitors will be awarded (4) points.   For RSNA 2009, date points will not be included in the Space Assignment Point System.

Conducting a Hands-on Computer Workshop (HOW)

If your company would like to offer training for a particular application or showcase a new product/upgrade, you'll find it beneficial to participate in a Hands-on Computer Workshop (HOW).

These educational workshops are conducted in a classroom environment (limited to 30 participants each) in Hall A. Space rented includes carpeting, air conditioning and ceiling.  When we receive by our May 29 deadline, we provide assistance with your evaluation forms as well as promote online registration, RSNA Meeting Program and Annual Meeting website.

Rules and Regulations - Are they really important?

The answer is yes.  The Rules and Regulations are a binding and important part of the contract between a company and RSNA.  We require you to read all the rules for our 2009 meeting and refer to them during your planning cycle, as well as just before your trip to Chicago.

If you need further clarification on any particular rule or regulation, contact the RSNA Technical Exhibits Department.  We will be happy to steer you in the right direction.
The best exhibitor is the one that's the most prepared for a given event!

Visa Waiver Program (VWP)

Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries are now required to obtain approval through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) prior to traveling to the United States. This requirement applies to all eligible citizens or nationals traveling under the VWP. ESTA is a web-based system, initially launched in August 2008, which determines the preliminary eligibility of visitors to travel under the VWP prior to boarding a carrier to the United States.  It collects the same information as the paper I-94W form that VWP travelers currently fill out en route to the United States. To date, more than 1.2 million ESTA applications have been received, and more than 99.6 percent of applicants have been approved, most within seconds. Travelers without an approved ESTA are advised, however, that they may be denied boarding, experience delayed processing, or be denied admission at a U.S. port of entry.
