Reduce Costs with New Fuse Control Program
 |
Ferraz Shawmut announces the launch of its new Fuse ControlTM Program. The Fuse Control program is designed to help MROs and plant managers get control of their plant's assets and reduce costs by pinpointing obsolete fuses, duplicate inventory and potential hazards in their circuit protection. To celebrate the launch, Ferraz Shawmut is offering a free fuse inventory audit and analysis. If interested, companies should contact their Ferraz Shawmut Sales Representative or call 978-462-6662.
"Implementing the Fuse Control program is a trifecta for MRO's," said Robert Lyons, Ferraz Shawmut Product Manager. "It will help them get the edge they need to mitigate arc flash hazards, achieve code compliance and save money by reducing inventory up to 25% or more."
More information on the Fuse Control program including a free 12-page guide, inventory templates and bin labels are available for download at Fuse Control web page.

| Wastewater Treatment Plant Success Story
During a recent rain storm event, Kirk Hoeger, Facilities Manager with the City of San Diego, Point Loma Wastewater Treatment Plant, had a substation that powers the plant go down. Kirk needed 5kV Fuses ASAP. He contacted Scott Carleton, IS at WESCO San Diego, and Ross Chappell, IS at One Source National City. Both of these competitor distributors, couldn't get the help they needed from their source, so they contacted FUSECO. WESCO contacted the Texas location and One Source contacted the Mission Viejo, CA location. Both offered the Ferraz Shawmut A055FIDORO-100E solution. Both shipped overnight and the facility was up and running the next morning. I made a scheduled call on the facility a couple of days later, and Kirk was happy to get the Ferraz Shawmut fuses so quickly, praised both distributors for their service, and decided to keep both sets of fuses, just in case this happens again.
