WOW! What a fun and transformation summer this is turning out to be!
Tracy  and I had a wonderful time putting on our first week long Spirit Camp for Kids at the Guelph Youth Music Center.  It was a perfect location because it is set in a beautiful naturalized area along the river bank by the old Goldie Mill site. The children loved their time outdoors and we were able to experience a world of wonder through their eyes. They built fairy houses among the abundant fields of wildflowers, explored the river bed and the natural life within it. Our mornings were spent practicing Kids Yoga under the inspiring direction of Yogini, Tracy Young. We followed this by an appropriate craft to match the theme for the day.
There was a focus on consciousness and the environment with the camp and we were delighted to discover how aware the children already were. We did plenty of deep listening and connecting with the Nature Spirits and Devas of the mineral and plant kingdoms. The weather co operated, so we had outdoor time each day. The children collected sticks and natural items to fashion some amazing Dream Catchers in the afternoon. They made dream pillows with all their dreams and aspirations drawn on a pillow case, then they created a dream journal to keep track.
We delved into sound healing with drums, handmade rain sticks and crazy songs that made us laugh. I was able to put aside my work schedule for a whole week and just be a kid at camp again. It was a truly magical time for all of us and I hope to see many more Spirit Camps for Kids spring up in the future.

Many of you have been asking about it and this September Barbara will be teaching a six week  Intuitive Development Course in Guelph. The course will be held on Thursday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, for six consecutive weeks starting on Sept. 10/09. This is perfect way to get your feet wet, develop confidence in your innate ability and enter into the new paradigm.
The course will incorporate experiential exercises with lectures, empowerments and opportunity to practice in class as well as at home. Students will be given something to take home and practice each week. A binder and extensive course materials will be provided to each student. If you miss a class you will be given the materials so you can catch up in your own time. No previous experience or understanding is required. We just ask you to show up with an open heart and mind… and be ready to have fun!
 
Unit 1- Intuition –The  Levels of  Intuition: Seeing, hearing, feeling , smelling, knowing. The pathways of Intuitive function. How Intuition as related to the Body Electric /Chakras and levels of communication within the energy field.
Unit 2- Brain states and altered states of consciousness. How to manage your own energy. Visualization and Playful non-threatening exercises to open your intuition.
Unit 3- Tuning in to the vibratory world- Reading energy fields - developing ways to receive information from all sources.
Unit 4- Inner preparation and learning to trust.  Methods to tap into your personal gifts and intuitive understanding.
Unit 5- Intuition and the Evolving Soul: Past lives, reincarnation and spiritual guidance. Symbols and signs.
Unit 6- Professional Practice – Rules of practice - How to structure a reading – Boundaries, Ethics and Legalities.

Experience the Magic! At this critical time on earth, as we enter into the final gateways of our evolutionary shift, I am feeling that this will be the most amazing year yet for our Soul Connection Sacred Journey to the Big Island of Hawaii from Feb.15 to 22, 2010. I am so looking forward to visiting this sacred Island in the middle of the Pacific once again. I am always rejuvenated and enlivened by my time there.
This is a huge transition year for me because on August 31^st I will be 60 years young. I intend to continue to sing my song, dance my dance, write my book, and manifest my bliss for many more years. I am asking you to join the dance in 2010.  I come back from Hawaii each year with a renewed commitment to my soul purpose and my sacred self. I find the same is true for all who journey with me. Life has continued to get better and better since my first visit there in 2001.
Each year as I have taken people to the island they have wondered how they ever considered that they should not spend the money on themselves. Everyone is always delighted with the heart based experiences, great food, sacred moments, personal awakening and dolphin connections. They always feel that the investment was well worth it. … “Priceless”, as one past journeyer put it. I am always delighted to witness my sweet brothers and sisters awakening. I love Hawaii because it holds the remembering to the magnificence of the last vestiges of our ancient Lemurian homeland. I am forever grateful that the energies support the work I do, as we open our hearts and minds to all the the Land, Ocean and  Sky Beings have offer us.
The past few weeks have brought me to a greater awareness of the importance of doing what I love and living it. In Hawaii I can really sing my heart song. The viel is thin there, especially in Kealakua Bay, thoughts manifest in an instant. This offers you an opportunity to connect with yourself on greater levels of consciousness.
