Exhibitor Invites Program
New this year, RSNA is offering exhibitors a free tool, Exhibitor Invites, which allows you to create your own customized email campaign:
- Send up to three emails to an unlimited number of your customers and prospects, offering them customized information about your company, registration information for the show, and a friendly reminder to stop by your booth during the RSNA annual meeting.
- Upload your customer and prospect file to our bonded and licenced third-party email service, Gloabal IntelliSystems.
- Your company name, logo, booth number, and customized message are all included as part of the three seperate html emails -- you approved the message and schedule.
- It's a great way to boost awareness about your company, and help ensure that all your key customers and prospects attend the RSNA annual meeting, and visit your booth.

Target Move In Assignments Released
On September 14, the target move-in assignments will be posted on our Technical Exhibition Center. For those of you who aren't familiar with the installation process, companies with a freeform exhibit (20'x20' or larger) will be scheduled a target move-in date between Monday, November 23 and Wednesday, November 25. General installation will take place on Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28. All booths must be show ready by 9:00 a.m. Sunday, November 29.

Early-Bird Rate for Internet Ends September 30
Once again, RSNA will be sole provider of booth internet
service at the RSNA annual meeting. All
internet service must be secured through RSNA and its RSNAnet service and not
Focus One. Each connection includes 10/100Base-T
standard RJ-45 male connector and 1 subclass-C IP address range (240 usable
addresses).
For RSNA 2009, RSNAnet service has new bandwidth breakdown. The minimum bandwidth size is now 348K
(compared to 256K in 2008). Also, for
the companies looking to increase their Internet bandwidth, RSNAnet is offering
a 5 MB and 10 MB connection.
Order by September 30 to receive the early-bird discount. Full

Promote Your New Products at RSNA 2009!
As another benefit RSNA offers its exhibitors, your company
has the opportunity to reach more than 11,000 people daily at the annual
meeting—FREE! If your company will
be exhibiting a product at RSNA 2009 that has been introduced in the past 12 months, you are eligible
to submit to the New Products and Services section of the Daily Bulletin.
New this year, a link to the Daily Bulletin online will be e-mailed each day to all RSNA
members, including those not attending RSNA 2009. This extends your reach!
Each announcement can
include a 100-word description of the product along with a color photograph
(logos not accepted). Each announcement will run once, in one of the New
Products and Services sections published Sunday through Thursday. Announcement
space is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so send your product
descriptions now!

Update your Exhibitor Listing by October 12
The RSNA 2009 Exhibitor List and Floor Plan is
available on our website at the RSNA annual meeting website at RSNA2009.RSNA.org. This exhibitor list includes contact information as
supplied on your Technical Exhibit Space Application/Contract and your company
description with product/service(s) from your previous participation (if
applicable).
We suggest for all exhibiting companies to
double-check their exhibitor listing by October 12. On this date, all company contact information
will be submitted for publication inside the RSNA Meeting Guide.
To edit your exhibitor listing, please visit
the RSNA Technical Exhibition Center and click "I'm a Confirmed
Exhibitor" then " Update Your Exhibitor
Listing." A
username and password was sent to you via a separate email. If you
experience any problems, please contact RSNA Technical Exhibits Department at exhibits@rsna.org.

Molecular Imaging Zone
Since
2006, the Molecular Imaging Zone (MI Zone) at the RSNA Annual Meeting has
showcased information on molecular imaging from academic, society and
government groups. If you are interested
in being considered for a cross-promotion opportunity with the MI Zone, contact
Mary Cerceo ( mcerceo@rsna.org) no later
than Friday, September 18 with information on your company’s MI products or
services for RSNA verification of your eligibility. Participating companies will receive complimentary signage with the MI
Zone logo to display in their booths, special MI Zone badge ribbons for their
staff, and will be designated by a dedicated icon in the Exhibitor
listings.

Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau can assist your planning needs
RSNA has created a special web portal which highlights
various ways that Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau (CCTB) can assist your
planning. This portal spotlights the
various offerings that the City of Chicago has to offer including exhibitor
assistance, maps, attractions, restaurant and more.

Importer Security Filing (Customs 10 + 2 Program)
As of January 26, 2009 all ocean
freight shipments from foreign ports destined for any U.S. Port are
required to be ISF/10+2 compliant.
ISF requirements:
The new rules require this information to be
filed 24 hours prior to departure of the vessel. Customs will be monitoring all
shipments for importer compliance. During the 1st year of the
program customs will compile information on importers but not issue “Do Not
Load” orders or issue penalties
Starting on January 26, 2010 U.S. Customs
will begin issuing “Do Not Load” orders for shipments not reported properly and
will issue penalties in the amount of $5,000.00 per infraction
The data elements include the following:

and address of the overseas seller

and address of the manufacturer
3)
Name
and delivery address of US buyer
4)
Importer
of record EIN number
5)
Name
and address of the ship to party (actual place of delivery)
6)
Actual
consignees EIN number

Harmonized Tariff number

Container
stuffing location
10)
Name
and address of party who loaded the container
ISF is an Importer
Requirement,
not a carrier or forwarder requirement. The importer is the responsible party
since some of the required data may only be known by the importer and the
importer may want to keep certain information confidential.
