Exhibitor Invites Program

New this year, RSNA is offering exhibitors a free tool, Exhibitor Invites, which allows you to create your own customized email campaign:
  • Send up to three emails to an unlimited number of your customers and prospects, offering them customized information about your company, registration information for the show, and a friendly reminder to stop by your booth during the RSNA annual meeting.
  • Upload your customer and prospect file to our bonded and licenced third-party email service, Gloabal IntelliSystems.
  • Your company name, logo, booth number, and customized message are all included as part of the three seperate html emails -- you approved the message and schedule.
  • It's a great way to boost awareness about your company, and help ensure that all your key customers and prospects attend the RSNA annual meeting, and visit your booth.

Early-Bird Rate for Internet Ends September 30

Once again, RSNA will be sole provider of booth internet service at the RSNA annual meeting.   All internet service must be secured through RSNA and its RSNAnet service and not Focus One.  Each connection includes 10/100Base-T standard RJ-45 male connector and 1 subclass-C IP address range (240 usable addresses).
For RSNA 2009, RSNAnet service has new bandwidth breakdown.   The minimum bandwidth size is now 348K (compared to 256K in 2008).   Also, for the companies looking to increase their Internet bandwidth, RSNAnet is offering a 5 MB and 10 MB connection.
Order by September 30 to receive the early-bird discount.  Full information will be found inside the RSNA Exhibitor Service Kit.

Promote Your New Products at RSNA 2009!

As another benefit RSNA offers its exhibitors, your company has the opportunity to reach more than 11,000 people daily at the annual meeting—FREE! If your company will be exhibiting a product at RSNA 2009 that has been introduced in the past 12 months, you are eligible to submit to the New Products and Services section of the Daily Bulletin.
New this year, a link to the Daily Bulletin online will be e-mailed each day to all RSNA members, including those not attending RSNA 2009. This extends your reach!
Each announcement can include a 100-word description of the product along with a color photograph (logos not accepted). Each announcement will run once, in one of the New Products and Services sections published Sunday through Thursday. Announcement space is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so send your product descriptions now!

Importer Security Filing (Customs 10 + 2 Program)

As of January 26, 2009 all ocean freight shipments from foreign ports destined for any U.S. Port are required to be ISF/10+2 compliant.

ISF requirements:
The new rules require this information to be filed 24 hours prior to departure of the vessel. Customs will be monitoring all shipments for importer compliance. During the 1st year of the program customs will compile information on importers but not issue “Do Not Load” orders or issue penalties

Starting on January 26, 2010 U.S. Customs will begin issuing “Do Not Load” orders for shipments not reported properly and will issue penalties in the amount of $5,000.00 per infraction

The data elements include the following:

1)     Name and address of the overseas seller
2)     Name and address of the manufacturer
3)     Name and delivery address of US buyer
4)     Importer of record EIN number
5)     Name and address of the ship to party                             (actual place of delivery)
6)     Actual consignees EIN number
7)     Country of origin
8)     U.S. Harmonized Tariff number
9)     Container stuffing location
10)  Name and address of party who loaded the container

ISF is an Importer Requirement, not a carrier or forwarder requirement. The importer is the responsible party since some of the required data may only be known by the importer and the importer may want to keep certain information confidential.
