FOOTWORK TECHNIQUE: This class to cover footwork combinations, more complex marking and contratiempos.

**7:30-8:30pm: INTERMEDIATE II &ADVANCED
FOOTWORK TECHNIQUE: This class will combine more complex footwork patterns with smooth upper body. Say goodbye to using your skirt as a crutch!

SEVILLANAS & OVERALL TECHNIQUE: The third and fourth copla of Sevillanas will be taught, as well as overall technique of footwork, marking and palmas.

**7-8:30pm: INTERMEDIATE II & ADVANCED
CUADRO SKILLS: We will focus on basic cuadro skills used in tablao performances-- palmas, advanced Sevillanas, Tangos, Bulerias and jaleos. We will look at individual solos only in how the cuadro can support them with palmas.
($144 workshop, $22 single class)

This class is an introduction for new beginners and a review for those with some flamenco experience. This class may be repeated until the student is confident in the rhythms and footwork to move on to the next level.

WEEKLY FLAMENCO CLASSES
taught by Clare Catalina continue in Pasadena.
Technique classes are different every week, focusing on basic footwork, braceo and marcaje, focusing on line, peso, colocacion and isolation of different parts of the body. We are currently working in the palos of solea, solea por buleria and tangos, and students gain understanding of the aire and compas of the various palos. This class is ideal for beginners to advanced beginners. If enough students are interested, we can arrange for a guitarist to play for the class.
Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 at Le Studio in Pasadena near the 210 and 134 interchange. Drop in fee is $13, 4 classes for $45, 8 classes for $86, and so on.
