 Hello Rick,

We opened FT Blue Bell, Pa. on July 9. Our business plan called for six clients and revenue of $11.1K our first full month in operation. From July 9 until July 31, I am ecstatic to report that we have revenue of $36.2K and a roster of 19 great clients, in 20 business days. I could not be more pleased and I want to share my story with you briefly.

For the past 3 years, I have been a franchise broker with the Business Alliance. I came to know FT though the first web telecall you and Scott made to us in the Spring of ’06. Shortly after, I began speaking with Phil Kathol to learn how to best show FT and bring qualified candidates to the table.

I eventually met Kevin and Tom and the more I learned about the model, the more interested I became in it. Thoughout  the process what impressed me was the relationship I developed with the guys in your office and especially  Phil. He is a man of uncommon integrity whom I’ve come to respect and admire.

When it was time for me to buy a franchise of my own, I had 300 in my portfolio from which to choose. All I knew was that I always wanted to be in the fitness business. At that time, I had it narrowed down to FT or The Personal Training Institute in NY. They were an emerging franchise and offered me the Area Development rights for PA. at no charge in return for opening a studio.

I admit it was a tempting offer. I spent hours trying to decide what was best, same as I did with my Franchise Strategies, Inc. clients. Finally, I concluded that the FT business model with Phil Kathol as my AD offered the best chance of success. Since I entered the system last December, I’ve never questioned my decision. I am a happy franchisee who wants to pay you as much in royalties as possible.
