Enthusiastically Episcopalian Conference & Forums - Spring 2010

This excellant conference was attended by over 150 persons. Subsequently a series of regional forums on the same topic reached another 250 Episcopalians.

The Episcopal Forum now has over 600 Members and the list grows weekly. "eNewsletters" are issued several times each month to over 1000 Members and interested Observers. These eNewsletters strive to keep Episcopalians informed with a balanced perspective on what is happening in our Diocese and in TEC.

EFSC published full page space advertisements earlier this year reproducing a TEC communication "I Am Episcopalian" which was published in the NYT and WSJ. This EFSC print media communication included the concerns which EFSC Members have with the increasing disassociation of the leadership of the Diocese of SC from TEC.

These conferences, forums, website, print media and eNewsletters have been the principal methods used by EFSC to achieve its mission of supporting full participation of the Diocese of SC within TEC.

Enthusiastically Episcopalian - Address by the Rev. Dr. Francis H. Wade

How EFSC Members can help to "Grow the Membership"
If each Member invites into membership one person who intends to "Remain in The Episcopal Church and support its leadership" (EFSC's only mission) - THEN MEMBERSHIP WOULD EXCEED 1000.

This makes a powerful statement to those in the Diocese who want to leave the Episcopal Church. Membership is individual so each person must go to the EFSC Website and fill out the Membership Form. (or mail a note to EFSC)

A good way to invite people is to forward to them a typical eNewsletter with a note from you.

How EFSC Members can support the "Communications Program"
Communicating with the entire Diocese of SC is critical and costly. The current level of EFSC programming is costing around $18,000/year or about $30/Member. Each year gifts large and small have funded these expenses.

Your Board asks you to consider what level of financial support you can give at this time. The Episcopal Forum is a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation making gifts tax deductable. Write your check to "Episcopal Forum of SC" and mail it to:
