Don't have a cow, but Four Pillars Law Firm is mooo-ving!  That's right!

The New Year has brought a wonderful change for us!  As of March 1, 2012, Four Pillars Law Firm will be located in a  larger office (with ample parking and more amenities).

Our address will be 2202 Wrightsville Avenue, Suite 213, Wilmington, NC 28403 (located near the intersection of Wrightsville Avenue and Dawson Street, right behind the “painted cow”).   Ever wondered about that cow?  Click here to read her story!

Interview with a Community Leader

Quick—can you name the most heavily regulated industry in the United States?

No, it’s not nuclear energy (that’s #2).  No, it’s not pharmaceutical.  And, of course, based on the events of recent years, we all know it’s not banking!  For the answer, and information on my fascinating three-part interview with Sharon Luquire, click here

A healthcare professional since 1974, Sharon Luquire is the Family Resource Coordinator and a Partner with A Peace of Home, a company providing services which bridge the gap between families and facility staff in the long-term care industry.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

We all want to be millionaires, but the truth is most of us don’t have more than $5 million in assets.  That’s why when we hear about the tax changes that President Obama and Congress hammered out in the final days of 2010, we don’t think much about how they affect us.  Is ignoring the changes your final answer?  Click here for a lifeline.

A lawyer, a Rabbi, and a Hindu holy man are traveling together in the countryside when their car breaks down.  They ask to spend the night with a farmer who lives nearby. The farmer says, "I only have space for two in the house, so one of you must sleep in the barn."

“I’ll go,” the Hindu volunteers. A few minutes later, the lawyer and the rabbi hear a knock.

“There’s a cow in the barn,” the Hindu says. “A cow is sacred, and I cannot sleep with a sacred beast.”

“No problem, I can do it,” the rabbi says, grabbing his pillow. But minutes later, the rabbi knocks.

“There’s a pig in the barn. My beliefs forbid me to be near an unclean creature,”

With a tired sigh, the lawyer heads out. Almost immediately, there’s a third knock at the door.

It’s the cow and the pig.

FOUR-CAST Interview with a Community Leader

We're Here Four You

I'm currently single, so as Valentine's Day approaches, I am trying my paw at online dating.  This ad caught my eye:

Seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a very good-looking girl who LOVES to play.  I love long walks in the woods, riding in your car, hunting, camping and duck shooting, cozy nights lying by the fire. Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. Rub me the right way and watch me respond. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me. Kiss me and I'm yours. Call 475-6420 and ask for Daisy.

Looks like I wasn't the only one interested in Daisy.  When this ad ran in the Classified-Personals section of a New Zealand newspaper, more than 15,000 men found themselves talking to the local branch of the SPCA about an 8-week old black Labrador retriever!
