Four Pillars Law Firm

will be closed

May 2- May 13.

After the big move to our new location (2202 Wrightsville Avenue, Suite 213) we're headed to Costa Rica for a family wedding and a little R&R.

We've planned an itinerary that involves some time on the beach, some time in the jungle at an eco-lodge with no electricity, and a visit to the Irazu volcano.

During our absence, you are welcome to leave messages and/or email us.  We will return all calls and emails the week of May 14th.  We look forward to serving you then (and sharing a story or two about our adventures)!

P.S.  This is a picture of me in Pingyao, China.  To find out where else I have traveled, click here.

Interview with a Community Leader

 We Want Your Help!

Four Pillars Law Firm is committed to knowing all of the community leaders in the field of Elder Law and Elder Care.   That's why we have taken them time to sit down with people like:

Kimberly Paul, Vice President of Communications & Outreach for Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter

Ed Drohan, Public Affairs Officer at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC

Sharon Luquire, Found of A Peace of Home

Do you know someone who should be on this list?  Just reply to this email to send us your suggestions for future interviews with community  leaders who work to support our veterans and elders.

Since we plan to enjoy the beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, we couldn't resist searching for a beach-themed lawyer joke.  Here's what we found:

What do you have when a lawyer is buried up to his neck in sand?

Not enough sand.

If you think you have a good lawyer joke, please share it with us and we may publish it in our next newsletter.  We invite you to submit jokes, cartoons, questions, and comments to:

FOUR-CAST Interview with a Community Leader

We're Here Four You

Everyone jokes about how great it is to be a dog:  someone else brings home the bacon (or at least pays for the kibble).

But dogs get stressed out too.   The classic technique for handling dog stress only works for so long. (If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away!)

Dogs are also natural wanderers, so being inside a law office all day (without TV or the thumbs to control a remote) can be boring at times.  (I have the most fun when you come to visit!)

Try as I may, I haven't been able to convince Kelly and Matt to bring me with them to Costa Rica.  Maybe this vacation photo from one of my husky buddies (bottom left) will help them see that even the world's best beaches have gone to us dogs!
