Aviva Jill Romm, MD, herbalist, midwife

For eight years, we've been not-so-patiently waiting for the day Aviva Romm would join us for a conference weekend. We're thrilled to say.....THIS IS THE YEAR!


Aviva Romm is a highly respected expert in botanical medicine, childbirth, and women’s and children’s health. She practiced as a homebirth midwife and herbalist for over 20 years before becoming a Yale-trained MD. She is the author of the now classic books, The Natural Pregnancy Book and Naturally Healthy Babies and Children and the more recent, award-winning book Botanical Medicine for Women's Health.


At the conference she's offering the following classes:

Amoke Awele Kubat

Amoke Kubat--teacher, artist, writer, and elder--partners with community artists, activists and organizations to bring African/African American culture to women through art, storytelling and education. She's been a birth-to-five Early Childhood and K-12 Special Education teacher for almost 30 years. At the conference she'll be teaching:

Monica Corrado, MA, CNC

Kelly Wolfe, Ph.D.
